Many atimes, it's very easy to judge people from afar. Meanwhile, the so called "judges" might not be able to withstand the same temptation if it was served to them as breakfast. They are talking not because they are better, but because they have not been surrounded by certain circumstances beyond what they think they know. When a brother err, the leadership should be sad and worried and run around to get him restored. Only Christ Jesus has the power to forgive anyone, not the pastor. Because if the man didn't open up to confess, the so call leaders, be sure are so so blindfolded by their own flesh to know things happening in secret places.. I tell you in that church there are worst person than the so called erring brother who kept the matter to themselves and the pastor will never detect. Neither do I condemn you, Jesus says, but go and sin more. |

StillDtruth: If he's an elder or leader, yes it is biblical AND there are also other Bible verses that the leadership should read and use to help him. He's certainly not the first to go through such and probably not the last. Even in academia, i remember they used to flog and punish some offenders openly. i understand things are changing in the secular. Even today, if you flog secretly, they may flog the teacher and even sack the teacher the next day. So i get the point why many will feel very bad that someone is openly called out or corrected. |

Image123: The public flogging of children has always been one carried under certain circumstances and it is even for the purpose of correcting and deterring other children and potential wrongdoers. And the rights of dignity for children is not yet full, but this is an adult with full rights, thus, if this moral Law should be implemented, then the lawful procedure is public stoning. But, now men rejected God's Laws and chose men's fake laws called constitution which recognizes his right to fornicate, for this is not a holy nation, so sin and the propensity for an individual to sin must be recognized and taken under consideration in their judgment. Thus, there judgment was very unfair and it is them who now did an evil for the mere fact that he was removed from his position is sufficient for the public, for he still has access to the oublic and once they learnt of his removal and the reasons thereof, gets to be validly and rightly and privately shamed as is Law Full. But their dehumanization and abuse of him was wicked and they broke The Law by causing him double jeopardy What is the double jeopardy rule? In general, in countries observing the rule of double jeopardy, a person cannot be tried or punished twice for the same crime based on the same conduct. If a person robs a bank, that individual cannot twice be tried for robbery for the same offense. And this guy has been punished twice for the same offence, that is why everyone is .saying.what they did was wrong! |

StillDtruth: 1Ti 5:19 KJV Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. 1Ti 5:20 KJV Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. i stand with the above new testament practice. The church is not a law court or a radio programme. |

Image123: By proxy and representation of God, The church is The House of Law, Righteosness and Justice, therefore a Court and The Best and Most Justest Court ever and that is why you see that Court heard listened and heard Paul's matter even though he was not recruited by any of the original 12 disciples, exactly ad just court must do! And Timothy 5:19 is simply saying that an elder is so righteous (presumption of The Law of God because an elder is supposed to be rigtheos at all times, so this is what is called judicial protectilon of officials so that frivolous accusations would not be used to disturb them) therefore valid accusation against them must be backed by 2 or 3 witnesses who support that accusation. While Timothy 5:20 is simply saying don't cover up sin, and rebuke it , and all these has already been complied with by his chastisement and sacking from office. |

osazsky: Time heals all "wounds". Don't believe it, that everyone avoided him. It cannot be entirely true because in that church he will have friends and family members and well wishers who cannot conspire altogether against him for one mistake that happens often ( his alleged sin is a common one for young person). So, there must be people sympathizing with him... While there will be others mocking him. Still, he needed to stand his ground in his faith and see God work wonders for him... |
