How Kudirat Abiola Was Killed

She helped her husband, Bashorun MKO Abiola to use an Edo woman working with Mariam Babangida to steal a document from Babangida's possession. It was a document showing Babangida to be a shareholder of a company he formed in partnership with Elf before he granted Elf an oil bloc. Abiola wanted to expose Babangida and he was using his wife Kudirat. Abiola got the information from his American friend who was Elf chairman. It was thesame man he told in 1989 that he wanted Nigeria to be a UNSC member which was part reason Queen Elizabeth engineered his assassination by using Obasanjo to lie to General Gowon that Bashorun Abiola once used a man for rituals. General Gowon on the strength of the information from Obasanjo advised the then head of state General Abdulsalam to kill Bashorun Abiola in government detention. Bashorun Abiola was innocent. Kudirat got the document but instead of handing it over to her husband she decided to profit off it by blackmailing Babangida. She used Anthony Anenih to write Babangida a letter advising him to acquire shares in Elf in a bid for him to know the cat was out of the bag already. Babangida got or understood the coded message but knew Anthony Anenih got the message from somewhere. Babangida regularly communicates with Proffesor Wole Soyinka his friend and he told him of his predicament. Prof Soyinka offered to find out how Anthony Anenih got the information if he is paid one million naira and Babangida agreed. Prof Soyinka then contacted and bribed someone working with Anthony Anenih for the information and he got it after which he passed it on to Babangida who sent assassins after Kudirat Abiola to cover his tracks. The document is lying somewhere and useless presently while Babangida has sold his shares in the company to do another thing

If I can recollect correctly, Kudirat was killed during Abacha reign not Babangida.
