Tho some group of mofos may hate him for what he stands for...But the simplest and sweetest truth is that he's an established man...And nobody can take that away from him.....

Stop being delusional, he brought cúltísm to Nigeria and cúltísm has killed more Nigerians than HIV/AIDS, COVID19, malaria, typhoid, cholera and ebola out together.

This man is greater than all yeebos living or dead.
Something is wrong with alot of you guys here. Mention one thing Wole Soyinka has done for the benefit of the entire nation here. Late Dora Akunyuli alone impacted the entire nation far more than Soyinka, let me stop here. Beside, the topic was meant to celebrate him for living this long not like he did anything special for nation but you dragged your rivalry wahala with igbos into the topic.

Soyinka is greater than crippled Achebe.

Bitterness and envy against Soyinka killed crippled Achebe before his time.
Today, Soyinka is ageing with Grace at 90 , while crippled Achebe has been eaten up by termites
Say what u like na u get ur miserable mouth but the whole world regards WS as a bigot , tribal nationalist simple and short

I respect elders and those talented by God to change this world for the benefit of humanity but I don't like the ways academician put to the act of ruling the nation. The academician suppose to involves in politics so that people vote for them to make them use their talents and knowledge in ruling the nations.

An average Eebo thinks like an illiterate and he's so ignorant and full of inferiority complex.

Soyinka has no equal in Africa. Ngugi Wa Thiogo that you're promoting in order to hide your tribalism is not on the same wavelength with Soyinka.
There was no year African writers boycotted Nobel laureate awards Nobel laureate awards is not about literature alone, it covers sciences, medicine and so on .

Another thing is that awardees are named before the day the ceremony will take place.
It's not like Grammy that some people will be nominated before the final selection.
If you're not a bitter, and ignorant Eebo, you will go and find out from those who studied literature at the high institutions, who is the greatest writer in Africa.

Don't let bitterness and envy kill you before your time, the way it killed crippled Achebe
lol
