Anambra Govt Awards N97m Contract to Beautify Ojukwu Teaching Hospital

The Anambra State Government has awarded a contract worth N96,968,266 to Telmac Engineering Services for the beautification of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital premises in Awka.

The project is expected to be completed within eight months.

This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Information, Paul Nwosu, during a post-Exco press briefing.

In addition to the beautification project, the state executive council also approved two other contracts: the construction of a trauma centre at same the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, worth N1,296,740,932.31.

The state government also awarded the contract for the supply of maintenance equipment for the Chinua Achebe Airport, Umueri, worth N437,711,426.

The contracts are part of the state government's efforts to improve infrastructure and healthcare services in Anambra State.
