Why Kanu Will NOT Be Released by yoruboid: 10:53am On Jul 03
1. His offenses are treasonable.

2. Comparing him with Sunday Igboho is dull because there’s no record of Igboho asking his supporters to kill security agents and burn public builds. All these have happened and are still happening because of Kanu

3. A strong signal needs to be sent to his minion in Simon Ekpa as he is doing the same so he won’t believe someday he will get away with it

4. His supporters have been proven to be chest beating cowards. They threatened hell that Nigeria will burn if he’s arrested but he’s been incarcerated for three years and counting

5. He has previously jumped bail and continued with his hate speeches even during trial.

6. Contrary to his boastful claims, the UK and other members of the international community have not come to his rescue and they are uninterested

7. Apart from the governor of Imo, none of the SE governors have the ears of the President

8. Kanu has directly and publicly threatened the President, his family and his business interests in the past

9. His supporters are only of one ethnic group and even within the group, they are polarized. He has never been seen as a national figure so he will get zero support for his release from other parts of the country

10. I strongly believe the recent seizures of arms is not unconnected with him. This clearly means there’s a war plan and releasing him will be a further threat

The main reason why Nnamdi Kanu won't be released is about precedence

If he is released they (IPOB) will not see it as the triumph of the justice system of Nigeria, or as the mercy of the Presidency, they will frame it as the greatness of Nnamdi Kanu and the triumph of Sit-at-home.

This will encourage more terrorist activities in this country, anytime a fringe group want to get it's demand, they would enforce sit-at-home.

Also, whoever releases Nnamdi Kanu would lose the full respect of the military.

Nnamdi Kanu’s release has been long in the planning

Tinubu doesn’t just want to release him, he wants to be lobbied first

Would Anini, Mohammed Yusuf, Abubakar Shekau and Usman Dan Fodio not be remembered in the history of Nigeria? There is no terrorist that will be forgotten, however, we will remember them for their evil deed as well as Kanu.

the story about Nnamdi Kanu is more important than the hunger ravaging the land, so much for leaders of tomorrow. old man wey no get sense.

focus on what concerns your people more, allow the south east to bother about their son and his release.
