General Ahmed congratulated the Corps Members on their academic accomplishments and successful enrollment in the NYSC program. He underscored the important role of the Orientation Camp in instilling a sense of patriotism and urged Corps Members to actively contribute to national development.

The Director General encouraged the Corps Members to embrace the regimented camp life, which prepares them for future leadership roles. He cautioned against sharing offensive camp activities on social media stressing its potential to misrepresent the NYSC. He also stressed the importance of focusing on their primary assignments upon deployment. He also urged them to adhere strictly to all camp rules and regulations.

Furthermore, the Director General advised Corps Members to remain disciplined, respect each other's opinions, and integrate despite their diversity. He shared his personal experience as a former Corps Member in Osun State, emphasizing the enriching nature of the service year and the value of embracing local cultures and traditions. He encouraged them to accept their Place of Primary Assignment without requesting relocation and also inspired the Members to identify their goals and take advantage of the lectures and SAED (Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) training, to become financially independent.

Brigadier General Ahmed emphasized the importance of personal security, warning against late-night movements and urging Corps Members to prioritize their safety. He reiterated the NYSC Scheme's dedication to the safety of all Corps Members and emphasized the need for cleanliness, especially during the cholera pandemic. He also stressed adherence to the dress code at all times.

He commended the camp's cleanliness and the Corps Members' comportment, urging them to maintain the momentum and adapt to the regimented Orientation. The gesture was met with gratitude from camp officials and Corps Members alike, underscoring the Director General's commitment to supporting and motivating the next generation of leaders.
