I think protests can work in Nigeria only against a president from the southest or southsouth because these are the regions that the country is leeching on. Jonathan's presidency was an example. Obi's presidency would have faced the same, not due to incompetence by out of spite. The reason is simple. Nigeria is a country held together by greed for oil and the regions that are parasitic feel an existentil threat whenever someone from the regions they're feeding fat on gets close to power. Nigeria is a country united by parasitism just to serve the interest of Britain. When you understnd this, you'd be left in no doubt why a Buhari or Tinubu could become a president.

Buhari knew that so well, that no matter what he does he has his army of sai babarians behind him. Tinubu knew this so well too.. no matter what he does, the ronus stand firm behind.
