This was how they spinned lies about the Igbo and this present generation still carried it on.
Kolanut grows in Anambra State and Imo State that I know very well. Many traders from the East transported and traded kolanut to the north without ever visiting the west.
This ooni should stop spinning lies and focus on his calling of marrying old cargoes. grin grin

Ooni is 100% wrong on this.

Igbos and Fulanis actually have same ideology, migratory/nomadic culture, hotblooded/easily angered, fair skin complexion, same shape of head, Tit for tat view of life (mosaic law just like jews), persistency, superiority complex, etc. and most definitely share same ancestral links.

The only difference is one embraced Islam and cattle rearing while the other Catholism and trading.

Yorubas have nothing in common with Igbos. We only share ancestral links with the Binis.
wow

See as you perfectly summarized the views I have always had about the two tribes after studying them for so long.

Good one.

I am Igbo but I totally believe this reverred monarch completely.
Igbo and Yoruba languages share certain similarities between them.
For example, Yoruba word for Stone is Okuta while in my Igbo language, it's Okwute.
Note_Yoruba brethren on this forum, correct me if am wrong .
Igbo word for chin/ jaw is Agba while Yoruba is Agbon.
Nose_Yoruba=Imu,Igbo=Imi.
Goat_Yoruba=Ewure,Igbo=Ewu.
Ear_Yoruba=Eti,Igbo=Nti.
Mouth _Yoruba=Enu,Igbo=Onu.
The Yoruba word Enu for mouth is a false friend to the Igbo word Enu for Sky, upstairs,up.
In certain Yoruba dialects,Enu can be pronounced Unu and this variation is also a false friend to the Igbo word Unu for plural form you when referring to more than one person.
The Yoruba word Ede for language is false friend to the Igbo word Ede for cocoyam.
The Yoruba word for Elephant Erin, is similar to the Igbo counterpart,Enyi.
Owl_Yoruba=Owiwi,Igbo=Ikwikwi

Lol... More outlandish claims. This is even way more far off than the nonsense from the oba. The Igbo and the Fulani are as totally different from each other as the Scottish is different from a Chinese

What I know is that we have Ugbos (in Ondo state today) who fought the Ifes. Moremi, an Offa princess married to the Ife king saved the Ifes from the Ugbos. That's how Ife became peaceful and they made progress.

The Olugbo of Ugbo kingdom has stated the history from their own perspective. It's not so different except that they claim to be the original settlers in the area.

Ugbos are different from Igbos. Ugbo is bush in some Yoruba dialects.
Igbo is also Bush in Igbo dialect, especially describing bush farm.

Supposing he does his interview without mentioning another tribe, will it kill him?

Very unintelligent lie there.
How can a traditional ruler of ooni's caliber be lying without shame ? That kola nut does not grow any other place except Yoruba land .
In my compound alone we have about 4 kola nut trees planted by our great grandfather not to talk about others scattered within the community..
Again what did he mean by " they fight war over kola nut, you know they always fight war"
Haba ! I am waiting for one of our first class traditional ruler to reply him over this insult and lies

How can ooni say that kola nut does not grow any other place except Yoruba land ? Go to my village and see lots of kola nut trees just that we don't plant it for commercial purpose like they do because it takes years to yield friut.

Again what does he mean by implying that igbos fight war a lot .
.
I don't know why Yorubas are obsessed with igbos

Why did you bring Ugbo into this discussion.

The Ooni knows what he was saying. He was referring to Ndigbo. Not Ugbo.

The Obi of Onitsha has confirmed the historical connection between Yorubas and Igbo before. Forget Nnamdi Kanu's children online.

The Ugbos are part of Ilajes and their king is Obateru (owner of Obat oil. The richest king in Africa).

There was no ambiguity in Moremi story. She was a traitor to the Ugbos and a heroin to the Ifes.
Obi of onitsha didn't confirm anything.

He is telling the truth by lying that kola nut does not grow in Igbo land ? Do you know how many kola nut tress in my community alone despite that most of them have been cut down because they are old and no longer bear friut ?

How did out forefathers get kola nut from Yoruba land some 150 years ago when I don't even think there is any road linking igbo and Yoruba lands ?

The man should go and sit down abeg

CoronaVirusPro:

The first migrants of Igbo’s into znigeria have been known to be Jewish. There are artifacts and locations in the South East that buttresses that.

It was the son of Oduduwa ruling Benin that gave the Igbo migrants the land called South-East todays

Igbo’s are one of the lost tribes of Israel with a unique language, and they are not Nigerians.

They migrated into West Africa through the coastlines of Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon.

They were working for the Ikwerre’s in the Southern part of Nigeria and adopted their language.
My dear brother, it's just a myth that started less than 100 years ago. There is no similarity between Jewish culture and Igbo in any form. If Europeans had not come to open an Igboman eye to the outer world, he wouldn't have known a nation called Israel. The Jews in Ethiopia and India still have a very similar pattern of worship and still maintain their Jewish identity after several years of separation from other Jews. It's quite shameful that you gave petty things as evidence. Show me the similarity between the Igbo language and Hebrew, please. It would be best if you guys stopped the shameful way of complexes

Sometimes, the Igbos say they are from the Jewish side. I wonder. No. The Jews came from you (Igbo).

This is a fact!!

People don't just understand that the JEWS (the people in Israel today) are modern and that they're not the same people referred as ISRAELITES in the Bible or Tanaka or in other ancient scripts.

The Israelites were black people in Africa. The Greeks at some point called the whole of Africa Ethiopia or Cush or Egypt as white people still do today thinking that all of Africa is one country. See the Bible book of Amos 9:7. It states "Are you not like the people of Ethiopia to Me, O children of Israel?” says the LORD. “Did I not bring up Israel from the land of Egypt"

By "Ethiopia" or "Egypt" above, the author means Africa or blacks. In ancient times, Israel or Ethiopia or Egypt or blacks were used interchangeably!! But Israel wasn't the most popular lexicon among the names.

Moreover, the author of the book of Solomon explicitly mentioned his/her race. See songs of Solomon 1:5:6. It reads " I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me"

These people split out of the Twa ancestors from Central and Southern Africa about 200,000 years ago and moved towards Western Africa.

This is the snake people! They settled in the South East at Nri, then moved West to Yoruba land up to Akan land in Ghana and Mali. These are the oldest civilizations in West Africa. These West African cultures appear to be one in the dim period of human history but they splitted at some point and went their separate ways.

Professor Kaba Hiawatha Kamene has already mapped out their tracks to Egypt and in my upcoming book: what is Satan? I'll put more historical context to it regarding the topic at hand.

Jews are a very modern people. It means people living in Judea just like we say:-
New York - New Yorkers
Paris- Parisian
Lagos - Lagosians
London - Londoners
Etc

At the Greco-Roman occupation of Judea (relatively recent), the people living in Judea (majority blacks) and also Helenized Israelites began to be called JUDES by the occupiers. That's where JEWS come in historically. They did not invent any God idea in the old testament. Their so called holy book is the one that came from the blacks but which they hijacked and distorted along with their Greco-Roman masters to create the new testament. This was facilitated by people like Josephus- a Helenized Jew. By the way, a Helenized Jew is a Christianized or Europeanized Israelite.
