Most of the people here lamenting would not hesitate to seek unconventional solutions to their problems, If need arises. But here they are criticising people that are desperate for change. People that have lost hope in the government and society at large. People that rightly believed that Jesus is the answer to their problems. Abeg make una leave them alone.

Sometimes I just wonder if you people think at all. You assume you're wiser than them ba?

Or like they are senseless? you're obviously an e-rat in one corner of a room with your 100mb typing rubbish.

Those you see there are desperate for God's intervention in their lives and they want God to happen to them at every cost.

You're not wiser then them. There is something they know that you obviously don't know. Your turn is coming.

In this case, the church is not to blame. Even in our places of work, we cant claim because you you live in Ikorodu and work in VI, Your employer must open office for you to enter by 4am because you joined a neighbour who leaves Ikorodu by 3am to avoid traffic.

The church has its programmes and it is voluntary to attend.

Someone even asked here if people still go to church in 2024!

So, na dem no wetin pursue them from their comfortable home go dey sleep for church domot before time.

Pastor sef still dey sleep by that time!

Una dey drink paracetamol for another person headache. Zion Ministry is NOT a church; it is a non-denominational prayer ministry. It is a ministry that has opening time and closing time. It has inns where people fly in from around the world and lodge in while they await the gates to be open to people on the worship days.

If Zion Ministry says fellowship starts at noon on Sunday, everyone go to your church to worship before coming to fellowship at noon and you decide to come at 5am because you want to occupy a front seat, how it is the ministry's fault?

Rubbish, you are saying rubbish BUT

A politician will want to share half paint of rice, you people will go and queue for 4 hours

To register NIN and PVC that is your fundamental right, you went as early as 5am to pick number, some of you even bribed your way. You didn't protest to Govt to provide more registration center.

For campaign rally where they gave you guys just 5k each, you left home early, stood at the stadium for hours without food, even engaging in fights.

Jamb posted your kids 2 hours drive away from their address, you couldn't protest that jamb should provide accommodation or stop the practice even ifit means writing the exam for 3 weeks.

Na only for church matter una fit talk, useless people.

Some of you saying that it is poverty, I laugh you, some people came their with their Benz and Lexus 350

Laws governing religious bodies in Nigeria is very poor. Government don't monitor their account books as they don't pay taxes, such funds are for charity and should be accounted for. Charitable works such as feeding, housing, cash for needy, medical outreach undecided
Very few engage in such act. That's why money embezzlement is coming in branches
Lies. Lies from the pit of hell. Imagine speaking for the devil and trying to tell the children of God how to spend their resources! The audacity!!

YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM FOR NOT MENTIONING THE CHURCH NAME........ FOOL

Gistmedia10:
Outrage has erupted after a video surfaced showing congregants sleeping outside the gate of a popular church in Lagos. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, has led to widespread criticism of the church for its perceived insensitivity. shocked

The video, shared by a concerned Nigerian man who witnessed the scene, shows dozens of people, including women and children, sleeping on mats and makeshift beds outside the church premises. These congregants had arrived early in anticipation of the Sunday service.

Critics argue that the church, known for its large congregation and significant influence in the community, should take better care of its members. "If they can build massive structures and collect offerings, they can certainly arrange for proper accommodation for those who come early," one social media user commented.

They chose to sleep outside a church building rather than their beds at home...!

When you give up your personal intuition and ability to reason to the whims of clergymen, you become undeserving of pity! undecided

Let me ask:

How many poor has benefitted from the taxes being paid to the state?

Yet your problem is the offerings collected by religious bodies. Same offerings that you don't indulge is the one you want regulated.

Hear me please:

The Church is not the problem of Nigeria, the government is.

I figure that if the government provides for the electorate, they won't go about harassing God to give them what their government should have provided.

Yeah! They will serve God genuinely and not for material gains.

So tackle your government and let the Church breath.

quote author=Curious345 post=130840591]Is that redeem church ?

The NAtional assembly should pass a law empowering the state to take 50% of church and mosque earnings. That money should be used to cater for the social welfare of the poor [/quote]
