NNPP NEC Affirms Kwankwaso's Expulsion, Announces Dissolution Of NWC by Jatuski: 9:16pm On Jul 07
The crisis rocking the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) assumed a different dimension after the National Executive Council (NEC) announced the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Mr Ajuji Ahmed and Mr Dipo Olayokun, as Acting National Chairman and National Secretary.

The party’s NEC noted that the decision of its Board of Trustees to call to order the erring national officers of the party was in accordance with the Constitution of the party.

The resolution of the party was contained in a communique jointly signed by Umar Jibril and Omolara Johnson at the end of the NEC meeting held on the 27th of May, 2024.

The Ahmed and Olayokun led NWC are loyal to Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The NEC also affirmed the six months suspension of Yusuf and the expulsion of Kwankwaso from the party.

Parts of the communique read, “The appointment of Dr. Agbo Gilbert Major and Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday as the National Chairman and National Secretary was confirmed and unanimously adopted.

“The recommendations of the Fact Finding Committee (FFC) and the Conflict Resolution Committee (CRC) on the Continuation of the six months suspension of Gov. Abah Yusuf of Kano State and Expulsion of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso from New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) were unanimously affirmed.

“The constitutional provision and recognition of the office of the founder of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) was reiterated and a vote of confidence was unanimously passed on the Founder – Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Antebonam.

“That Independent National Electoral Commission INEC should as a matter of urgency update the record of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to reflect the emergence of the leadership of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Dr. Agbo Gilbert Major as National Chairman and Comrade Oginni Olapos Sunday as the National Secretary.”

The party further said Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) should be supported with all necessary information and documents on the petition against Kwankwaso, Alhaji Kawu, Ajuji, Buba Gatadima, Dipo Olayokun and the defunct NWC on the alleged N2.5 billion nomination fee and camping fund fraud.

The party maintained that its 2022 Constitution as amended remains sacrosanct with the flag and logo of the party.

It stressed that the national headquarters of NNPP is situated at Willands Plaza, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, saying no other parallel office shall be in operation as the National Headquarters.

Kwankwaso has learnt his lessons from the last election, he is having an alliance with a northern bloc.

NNPP knows that kwankwaso will ditch them soon.

This one that NNPP fell into sudden misfortune, did Obidient Ipobz support NNPP at any point?
Or did they support the Kano Governor at any point?

There is a reason why I'm asking.

Someone that should have been the Vice President by now, but their collective hate and delusional superiority over the Igbos clouded his rational reasoning. He did not want to be an Igbo man’s VP!
Even when he knew quite well that PMB had already taken their slot. Yet he insisted that Obi must be his running mate. Who does that?

They succeeded in expelling the only iroko tree that made the NNPP. Without Kwankwanso there's nothing like one useless NNPP.

APC appears to be the real deal!

They craftily threw a spanner in the works of the disorganized opposition parties (LP, PDP and now, the NNPP)!

2027 would simply be a walk in the park for Tinubu and the APC as things stand.

Between now and 2027, while the opposition are at loggerhead with themselves, the APC would be consolidating waiting to coast to victory unopposed.

Chai!

Opposition, opposing themselves!

Kikikiki-kakakaka!!!!

Obi should've been the VP to Atiku by now, but his ego and rush, thinking he's arrived, made he defect to LP, with no victory in the end. Kwankwaso's ambition was not to win the Presidential election, but the Kano State Governorship, which he did.

politics is smartness, the Governor and kwankwoso want to japa to another party. The road is clear for them to do that now.

So another 8 years of a norther after PMB sounds like equity and fairness in a multiethnic country like Nigeria to you?

You would have made so much sense if you didn’t bring tribe into it.

If you guys keep portraying PO as an Igbo candidate, I can guarantee you he will never win an election in this country.

Edos, Deltans, Yoruba, Hausa’s Tivs etc all supported and voted him, yet every single day, you clowns keep painting him as an ethnic candidate.

There are Igbos that voted and supported Tinubu and Buhari, but you guys don’t see that.

When will you guys ever learn?
