Focus: Take a Stance

The word for today
In every situation or issue of life, it is crucial to take a stand. If you fail to take a definitive position, you will find yourself adrift, unable to make meaningful progress or impact. The choice to stand firm, even in the face of adversity, is what separates those who achieve greatness from those who merely exist!

A wavering, doubtful mind will leave you unsettled and unstable, unable to receive the blessings and provisions God has in store for you. Every circumstance in life presents an opportunity to define your stance, to declare your principles, and to demonstrate your unwavering commitment. Whether you face issues that seem beyond redemption or situations that appear hopeless, your faith and your stance will determine your experience. You must be mindful that you will always be caught between what God has said and what the prevailing circumstances are telling you.

When you exhibit a double mind, a wavering faith, in your quest to achieve your destiny, you are likely to miss out on the blessings and the fulfillment that God has in store for you. It is all too easy to fail, to become miserable, and to feel utterly unfortunate. However, you must never give up on the conviction that you will succeed, that you will have a good home and children, and that God will intervene in the issues of your life, regardless of your past experiences or the current challenges you face.

Always be on the Lord's side, and He will stand by your side to bring His word to pass. Be optimistic in the knowledge that God is not a man and that He cannot lie; He will do what He has said He will do. Choose to take a firm, uncompromising stand, rooted in your faith in God's faithfulness and His unwavering love for you.

Meditation: How steadfast is your stance in the midst of life’s prevailing issues? Do you waver or stand firm in God's promises?

Dear Lord, help me to take a firm and unwavering stand in every situation I face. Strengthen my faith so that I may hold steadfast to Your promises, regardless of the challenges before me in Jesus' name, Amen.

Emphasis: The price of taking a stand may be high, but the rewards of steadfast faith are beyond measure. It is better to die being optimistic than given up on your conviction.
