Numerous speculations and doubts have popped up, asking if Ebuka Songs have actually separated from the Spotlight Music, a recording label owned by Moses Bliss.

Well, here are some observations we gathered while trying to find out if he left but chose to keep it low.

The gospel music community has been abuzz with speculation and rumors regarding the apparent split between rising star Ebuka Songs and his record label, Spotlight-Nation, owned by acclaimed minister Moses Bliss.

The first signs of the potential rift came when Ebuka was noticeably absent from the recent "The Bliss Experience" concert hosted by Moses Bliss in his hometown of Akwa Ibom. Despite sharing the promotional flyers for the event, Ebuka was the only Spotlight-Nation signee who did not make an appearance.

Further fueling the speculation, Ebuka has since removed all references to Spotlight-Nation from his social media handles, and has even deleted the video he had previously posted of Moses Bliss gifting him a car.

Moses bliss on the other hand didn't post Ebuka on his birthday. The lack of birthday wishes from Moses Bliss and other Spotlight-Nation artists towards Ebuka has also raised eyebrows among the singer's fans and followers.

In a recent interview, Ebuka finally addressed the ongoing speculation, stating that his style of music does not quite fit the label's musical direction. He revealed that his calling is more focused on ministry, rather than the commercial aspects of the industry.

This revelation has sparked a mix of reactions, with some praising Ebuka's authenticity and commitment to his spiritual path, while others have critiqued his apparent lack of loyalty and professionalism.

"Take the loyalty of a poor or desperate man to the bank at your own peril," cautioned music expert and analyst Donsethbeat in a Facebook post. "At what point did Ebuka realize his calling was different from Moses Bliss' when the latter was investing in his promotion and gifting him with cars?"

The post went on to question Ebuka's motives, suggesting that he may have been trying to "demonize and demystify his boss" and present himself as the "only saint and spiritual musician" to the docile gospel music audience in Nigeria.

In an interview with a huge fan of Ebuka songs, he said "Moses is a business man while Ebuka is a ministry man, a man with a mission and the two doesn't go together" he added.

As the dust settles, the gospel community eagerly awaits further clarification from both Ebuka and Moses Bliss on the nature of their professional relationship and the reasons behind this apparent split.
