Melagros: They don't need to obey it, funds will now flow directly to LGA account and no more joint accounts....The next is for INEC to take charge of the LGA elections, this way, the powers of the governor has been reduced, anyone can become a governor now and perform well. The governors are pained to the bone, God punish the governor if Oppositions win LGA elections. The governors will file for state resource control, VAT collections and others, true federalism is ongoing. 3 Likes |

Melagros:Stop saying these things abeg! All the Supreme Court has done, something it did back during the time of Buhari, and again this time as well, is reassert the Constitution which clearly states that the account in question belongs to the LGs and as such Governors have no permission to access for any reason. Essentially, all of your governors who have ever dipped their hands into the LG accounts did so in violation of the constitution — they stole from the Nigerian people. They are criminals and are best impeached and made to serve time for such violations by the electorates. 3 Likes |

Segzy19: Those thieves can still collect it back from local government chairmen, since they hv power to influence their elections.. All of them are criminals sef with the so called chairmen except those thatmight have fear of their lives after death |

Looking at it from another angle, LGs in many areas will begin to suffer serious neglect... Many workers under LG will soon start facing unpaid salaries, local government chairmen will start feeling like gods, and local government elections will become more violent 1 Like |

dre11: Most of you governors turned yourselves to governors of state capital, used local government allocations to build flyovers and broadways in the state capital, but abandoned the other local councils in your states to decay. Some of the local government areas outside state capital are at the point of being totally carried away by gully erosion. Commot for road. 2 Likes |

I hope all those blind fools are reading now Most Nigerians are sentimental and intellectually fickle. They lack the ability of mental rigor. They just jump on bandwagon without independent and critical thinking. The govs that they all claimed are the biggest casualties are now rejoicing more than them. When I said the LGs will be cut off from the IGR of states they were insulting me. Where's that neophyte loswhite now. Look at mugus all around the thread. They are helping the govs to cry. Most of them are now confused and consoling themselves with lies and blissful ignorance. One dude even claimed the governors took fg to court. Others said they "contested" it. Oh Nigerians, when will your mumu do. |
