The main advantage of the policy is that it will end unnecessary industrial actions by ASUU. All tertiary education institutions will be run profitably by properly constituted governing councils or boards headed by the chancellor and their main task will be to fix school fees and etc of government owned schools while reporting on profit to government. The job of the government tiers will be to set up scholarship boards to make sure all students that passed O levels and qualify for university admission are sponsored by the tax payers with no one left behind. In that way, the universities will become forex earners just like Ghanaian and South African universities.
