Unfortunately, the above comparative conglomerates have not, will not, and never will they improve the fortunes of your people. Remember, your tribesman was President of NIGERIA for 6years, and VP for 2years (so, that is almost 8years of Ijaw Presidency), but findings showed that your least populated State of Bayelsa is the worst governed in the whole South-South, and almost below 30 out of 37 states in Nigeria, while your rest dispatched members across the coasts and nation still languish in abject exsanguinating social disgusts and indices. Your euphoria might worth the exhilarations, but it reflects the echoes of your jaundiced status and juvenile arrival of the people you represent. Let us be fair, it is not only Ijaw. This CURSE is on most Nigerians. Even in Western Nigeria. It is what the North is known for. They have been ruling Nigeria longer than any other ethnic group with absolute nothing to show for it except some individuals that remain the oligarchy joined by their military officers. The one about Ijaw is so pathetic, no be small. The New foreign income that found new wealth or curse comes from their areas. By suffering from the devastating Oil spill and destroyed environment, you would think with the coming of Jonathan, they would be more sensible than the rest of us. No o! It's our money we can spend it anyway we want. Boy! They sure did. The Igbo ruled the country as civilian and military Presidents handing over to one another like Zik did, then another Igbo military took over. Yet they cry everyday that they never ruled or too short. But even Ironsi short rule changed Nigeria forever from Regional Power to Federal Power. The Yoruba left their golden nest in the West for Federal politics and lost it all. . . |

What’s the difference between the good people of Bayelsa state, whose farms, streams, creeks, rivers and farmlands have been degraded by several years of oil pollution, and certain parts of the north, where farm lands have been devastated by herdsmen and terrorists? Even as it stands, the greater chunk of food sold in your state are brought from the same north, inspite of the challenges. What’s the reason for your unnecessary response when it is no longer a secret that the entire nation is presently mismanaged by those in power? If after 8 years of Presidency and 2 years of Vice Presidency, your people still stagger and live in squalor in your claimed states and territories, what is your basis for boasting?
