To the poster, it is called minimum wage. Others earning above minimum wage will only get consequential adjustment, just some percent. Understood?
I agree with you. By question is are they going to use the same percentage of last time to calculate the current consequential adjustment?

You are funny sir. "Dose" guys are correct but you are wrong. The percentage increases keep on going lower for those already above minimum wage. Only those on minimum wage get the full percentage increase.

My message is dat the difference won't be as expected by many.
70,000-30,000=40,000
40,000÷70,000=0.571 ×100= 57%
Just multiply your basic salary by 57% and add it to your take home

So me now on 240k how much do u think i will get

which one is senior staff and management staff..are senior staff not management staff
Senior Staff is GL 7 and above (or equivalent)
Management cadre is from GL 14 ( or equivalent).
While Management Staff is mostly heads of various departments including the overall boss.

Can you explain dis thing further pls.
Your quote sound educative and different from others.
oluwaseyi0:
Seems most people really don't get what minimum wage means

Some people claim they are already paying their staff 100k 2 years ago, question is are you paying each and every of your cleaner, driver, gardener, support staff over 100k 2 years ago? Minimum wage is not for your core staff

With this minimum wage new graduate will start on level 8, which will be above 150k, while principal and top goons goes home with over 500k

Even school cert holders start from level 4 which is around 100k, almost no one will earn 70k

But most illetrate on nairaland think minimum wage is what you pay a fresh graduate or an experienced staff

. Your basic salary will determine it .if your basic is 200, it mean 200×57% multiply by 200=114,00. . 240,000+114,000= 354,000
