you need to educate your self that what a dollar equivalent which is 1500 in Nigeria will buy,3 dollars equivalent which is about 2k will not buy it in Ivory Coast.
Jumbo bread that is sold between 1500 and 2k in Nigeria is over 3500 Nigerian money in benin .i don’t know how some people manage to make their followers look so stupid.how much is school fees in other Africa. States compred to Nigeria and what is the population of their citizens that can afford it

In 2000 (₦7,500) — 341 litres
In 2011 (₦18,000) — 277 litres
In 2019 (₦30,000) — 206 litres
In 2024 (₦70,000) — 93 litres

#Statisense🇳🇬

-• Ivory Coast - $125
-• Togo - $87
-• Benin Republic - $86
-• Senegal - $75
-• Kenya - $116
-• Cameroon - $70

-• Morrocco - $286
-• South Africa - $249

-• Giant of Africa - $43

🇳🇬NEW MINIMUM WAGE — JULY 2024

Federal Government and the leadership of the Organised Labour have agreed on ₦70,000 as the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

₦70,000.....equivalent of:
Official Rate: $44.17
BDC Rate: $47.56
Black Market Rate: $43.15

Minimum Wage back then....
2011: ₦18,000, equivalent of $117
2019: ₦30,000, equivalent of $98

Now in 2024: minimum wage of ₦70,000 average about $45 per month

Lets check the amount of a loaf of bread in Abidjan according to reputable source Numbeo

A big loaf of brwad tlis about 366.67CFA in Abidjan thats = $0.61

In Nigeria the cost of standard bread is 1500 = $0.92

and yes if you reconvert it to Naira it should be bigger than that of Nigeria because CFA is bigger than Naira as of today!

we use dollars as a standard that's how to measure economy

in summary Nigeria is selling same Bread higher than a country that is paying a minimum wage twice thier amount

OP no lie something is wrong with you guys

you think nothing is wrong with your family if you are not brought up in a way that u can’t engage civilly without abuse or insults.we are illustrating economies and you think something is wrong with who doesn’t buy your opinion, not even one person in real sense.it is your upbringing that something is wrong with and it shows the state of your house hold too.since you have decided to be a numbskull just pass.

leave the fools to be reeling useless statistics, comparing minimum wage in Ivory Coast to that of Nigeria, the idiot doesn’t even have one person in his payroll.
Only a mad man won’t ask pertinent questions when making comparisons like how much is basic cost of commodities in the market.petrol of about 700 in Nigeria costs over 2k equivalent in naira so how does the over $100 minimum wage in Ivory Coast equate or is more than $45 in Nigeria, what is the cost of food items, schools, rent etc in Nigeria compared to that of Ivory Coast.an average sized egg costs about 200 in Nigeria but the cost of the same is equivalent to about 700 if you convert their CFA to naira.
A room rent you are paying in Nigeria of about 15k or less in the mainland is more than 50k monthly converted to Nigerian naira and that’s why people like you may never be able to afford an apartment in Ivory Coast unless you make squatting arrangement.
Mad people only think about how much is money but will never think about what it can buy, they don’t even know that money is what money can buy.even in the Ivory Coast that has one of the highest minimum wage as he posted above, their wage can never afford what the Nigerian minimum wage can afford here.
And the dumb person is saying it will not be better for any one supporting the government, bring one person in the whole of your generation that it is better for, useless unfortunate people.instead of to hustle,na government them go blame for their failures, wether na government say make their parent born them.

Han hàn!

He offend you before? You con crush am like say he collect your G.. Suffery abeg
