I think u are more clueless than a man that dished out verifiable facts and figures for a response to a faceless argument. There is obviously hardship in the land, it doesn't,however, translate to economic indices. Market value respond rapidly to decline in economy indicators but very slow to it improvement. The onus is on you to counter his fact-filled fact filled claims.

For the records, I don't care about what you think.

What fact?

Are you OK at all? Sorry for asking.

How much is a litre of petrol, how much is a bag of beans, rice and Garri?

The question is.. Did he actually counter Dele momohdu or he just proved once again how low his IQ is.

I think I blame Jonathan for ever bringing him to the limelight.

Does it not even sound fooolsh to even the most fooolsh person that it is total insanity for anyone living outside Nigeria to start supporting Tinubu's Govt.

Let them come live in Nigeria and then whatever they say will be considered.

I'm not Reno's mate. I'm older than him and I am well schooled so don't think I'm just one small boy typing shit.

Reno has made himself a nonentity.

No one does factual dissemination of issues better than Omokri in Nigeria currently and even Doyin Okupe admitted that.

Omokri is very intelligent and, most importantly, clinically efficient at understanding what verified facts mean and how to interpret them.

Unlike many so-called public good governance advocates/analysts (Deji Adeyanju etal) who are glorified and compromised rabble rousers.

If I was Tinubu I would give Omokri a job whether he wants it or not. He is giving off vibes of Tunji-Ojo, our current Minister of Interior, indicating he should be deployed somewhere pivotal to the glory of Nigeria.

Omokri's intellectual energy and vibrancy is impressive. He puts all others to shame, most especially the Agulu Gbajue scammer, per his ability to collate, interpret and present indisputable facts.

Reno your facts are right but the facts remains that the hunger in Nigeria has tripled, prices of goods and services have escalated, cost of living is about to kill the living. These are facts and the layman on the streets who's about to protest come August can relate with these facts not the fat facts you reeled out.

You are an ignoramus.

If there is poverty in the land, why are you skipping the States Governors and focusing on the Presidency alone? What the citizens need each month are being provided by the Federal Government in form of substantially increased allocation.

The state owns much of the land, if not all the lands in Nigeria. What is their approach to agriculture? What incentives are being provided to farmers? How are they protecting farmlands from real estate? What novel ideas are they bringing on board to create wealth in their states, apart from running to Abuja every month?.

Do you know how we will change in economic fortune if all the 36 States Governors sincerely use like 10% of their states allocation to face agriculture?

Here you are, still expecting Tinubu to formulate policy for the states or determine how State Governors will spend their monthly allocation, which would be considered a constitutional overreach action. Or did any state Governors complain of not receiving their state monthly allocation as at when due?

How will you feel if your child cries back to you of hunger after you have substantially made provision for his needs to be even above hunger? Do you blame yourself as the parent or the child's indiscretion ?

If Reno is half as intelligent as he pretends to be he would have know that the 2014 figures are far better than this when translated into real naira value adjusted for inflation that is roughly seen in the dollar depreciation over the years.

Has the value of our naira depreciated more than 3 times since 2014?
Is it correct to say that N100 in 2014 is worth more than N300 today

It is obvious Reno Omokri is on the payroll of the APC government. All the data and statistics he is spewing is just government propaganda without any real basis.

Below is the actual link to the National Bureau of statistics

https://tradingeconomics.com/nigeria/balance-of-trade#:~:text=Nigeria%20recorded%20a%20trade%20surplus%20of%202158250.70%20NGN%20Million%20in,Million%20in%20October%20of%202023

The figures were just cooked up. What's the meaning of 1516.3% increase in the shipment of energy? What energy? Are they refering to LNG? In fact our LNG exports have declined in recent years. From the report, we have other oil products at 195.6% increase? What is meant by other oil products? Crude oil at 162.5 when our crude oil production (most of which had been signed away) is currently at 1.28milion barrels per day?

Imagine Reno Omokri talking about a GDP increase of 3.1% (which actually falls below IMF forecast) in an economy with 30% interest rate of 34%. https://www.channelstv.com/2024/07/17/imf-slashes-nigerias-economic-growth-forecast-to-3-1/#:~:text=The%20development%20comes%20on%20the,latest%20data%20from%20the%20NBS.&text=File%20photo%20of%20containers%20seen%20in%20a%20port

1: The International Monetary Fund showed 3.1% GDP growth rate in 2024

2: ₦6.52 trillion trade surplus in the first quarter of 2024

3. Nigeria is now a net exporter of clement to Europe and a growing exporter of refined petroleum products to Europe and West African states. (Or have you not heard about Dangote refinery and the new updates about cement?)

Your point is if Nigerians are feeling these progress. Nope. I agree with you. Why not? That's the answer you need. Maybe you will help yourself with my past posts to find your answers.

Is Nigeria still in poverty? Yes. Why is this so? I can't keep repeating the same. Go through my past posts.

The bone of contention is Dele Momodu's conclusion that Nigeria's economy is totally collapsed. With the figures and what we can see...no no no. Yes, Nigeria is still making money, but it is not circulating. That's the issue. Dele did not point to the real issue. He is not smart.

You are also not smart. If you are, you would have seen what we are saying. Will Omokri still criticise Tinubu? Definitely, yes. The main issue is that Tinubu is not tackling corruption, and I don't expect him to. Tinubu will make the economy a bit ok... but his carcus will only enjoy it. Suffering will still be in the land.

Do I support Tinubu? Read my posts again. But if you expect me to support Obi or Atiku...you are not ok at all. Lol.

Nigeria is in mess. No doubt. And what are our real challenges? They are corruption, tribalism, insecurity, religion clashes, cultural clashes, and overpopulation. Look at these issues and tell me who has attempted to solve these issues? Has Obi or Atiku talked about these main issues?

No matter who is there....even it is your favorite, as long as the issues I have highlighted are not addressed, the majority will be in poverty. However, the economy may not collapse...infact, it may really improve. What does that tell you? Some few are looting all the dividends. But does that make Nigeria collapse? Nope. Though, the people will continue living like it is collapsed....but it is not. When wahala wan burst, they will quickly release some benefits to ease the tension so the masses can cool off. As soon as that's over, the struggling continues. Lol.

Oga....this is how Nigeria will be until Nigeria really collapses. When Nigeria collapse, they will all run away to the nations they have acquired citizenship. Then, good people will use their own money to start building what is left over. And I think there will no longer be Nigeria then. There will be nations that will come out of it.

So, do not expect Nigeria to get better if these things I have highlighted are not addressed....though, Nigeria may be booming.

Good luck.

Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri is a joker now. Nobody takes him serious. He lives somewhere outside Nigeria and could not follow with what Nigerians living in Nigeria are experiencing first hand.
Imagine stating facts with IMF growth forecast. How's that a fact?
Or the Stock Market been the best performing in the world, when the capitalisation of the market in USD value, has dropped drastically since the coming of Blablue. Nigerians are now forced to sell their stocks cheaply (so they can feed their families) to the advantage of those overseas like Reno.
The Foreign reserve is at about $34bn, but Reno could not see the astronomical increase in public debt over the same period Blablu takes charge.
The citizens of Nigeria are groaning with inflation and all Reno can think of, is to counter a soft warning letter to Blablue by Dele Momodu.

Is he expecting all Nigerians to join him in the conspiracy of silence while citizens languish in penury and deprivation.
May be they should deport Omokri back to Nigeria so he will enjoy the false economic prosperity he's projecting to be happening.
