He has openly announced that he will sell petrol at less than N400 per liter. On hearing that, they are doing everything possible to bring down his refinery. These people want to rip us by any means.

When Obasanjo sold some of the refinery to blue star which has dangote and otedola has the main owners, some south south leaders complained and Yaradua reversed it when he became president. Our people were boasting they have the resources to turnaround the refineries but the simply continue their importation of fuel and never bid to buy again till now. See dangote now singlehandedly delivered a capacity higher than the combined four when fully operational. Those who got licences over twenty years till now didn't build because they were making huge profit through subsidy. Google and see that all the major tribes were among those with licences. They just lease their oil wells to foreigners to manage and pocket their profit without thinking the later consequences to Nigerians. They are the cabals Dangote talk about in Nigeria. They will surely fail.

Lafarge and BUA only have to follow the price dictator to ensure profits. In other countries Dangote cement struggles why because he wouldn't get that kind of privileged treatment he gets in Nigeria. Check out all the sectors he competes in where he doesn't have first mover advantage or the ability to capitalise on government influence, like in flour he couldn't compete and had to sell to flour Mills, the same with noodles he had to sell to Indomie.

This is the same script he wants to play in the oil and gas industry, but unfortunately the oil industry guys wouldn't be having it, so it is a case of a cabal and a monopolistic person fighting each other, none of them have the interest of the nation or its citizens at heart.

The truth is that Dangote’s refined oil is the same with the ones they sell at our filling stations too. That’s why Dangote called for the probing of oil that are being sold at all filling stations in Nigeria, since it’s the same quality as His. Dangote even exported his products to Europe, why didn’t they complain in Europe about the ‘inferiority’ ?

As rich as Nigeria is, the government found it difficult to build a functioning refinery. Does it mean that Dangote is richer than Nigeria ? Never. But he did it .

During this visit yesterday, I reliably gathered that diesel samples from Matrix and Total were tested in the lab,, and produced 1860 and 2861 ppm sulphur respectively, compared to Dangote's 87ppm. Even samples from the MHC which started operations later in the afternoon yesterday gave 35ppm sulphur. We all know the obvious. No wonder Dangote said oil cabals are worse than cocaine cabals

There are people in DPR, that are paid monthly with tax payers fund to check the quality of these products and also to ensure that the meters dispense correctly but they will not do so. It is not the duty of house of rep or senate to carry out these test.
I really appreciate the fact that dangote came out and challenged them, however they should carry out the test and any party not saying the truth should be punish severely
