Why moving containers to ports in Rivers, and not southeast that's supposed to have ports by virtue of their business outreach? Why Government not considering building a Port in southeast to mitigate the effects of transporting containers from Lagos ports? Is this not deliberate?

Tinubu is culpable of this and remains arrowhead of the plot not to have a Port in southeast so that Lagos ports will continue to flourish.

This is politics of vendetta as it's happening to Dangote where a chief executive of NNPC arm is calling his products as inferior and of lower quality. The reason being he didn't support his election campaign Bid. Now,he Is patronizing Chagoury because he Bank rolled his electioneering campaigns.

Did lagos state govt not build state owned port did any governor in south east venture into building a sea port and FG moved against it ?? add evidence

Lagos state as proven, a willing state can own a sea port so why must east always believe only FG is capable of developing there region

Unfortunately, you need to be smart to make the price of PMS cheap.

We saw oil marketers alleging that his diesel was more expensive than the imported ones, while Dangote has also accused them of importing cheaper dirty fuel. It has been a verbal battle between Dangote and Oil marketers and IOCs on the other side. Anyone coming here pointing fingers at the President should use his/her brain if there's any.

Oga rest. Wasn't it an NNPC subsidiary official alleging his products are substandard? Stop playing the Ostrich.

Your comment makes no sense. The FG is suppose to create enabling environments for companies that invest in the country and create jobs. That’s the responsibility of the government. We need people like Dangote to build industries in Nigeria but we don’t have any.

Lagos state government has built a state owned port. Some other states have taken cue and are building new state owned ports.

But for the South East they are waiting for Tinubu

Unbelievable!

No support for homegrown businesses, Innoson, Nord, and so on are there but the government keeps patronising foreign companies and creating jobs in foreign lands

Landmark was demolished for tribal sentiments taking away millions of salaries and taxes from the system and yet the government will be happy for Lebanese investment on this same beach even though they will take their profits away like MTN and DSTV.

This is bringing tears to my eyes. I don't know why is filled with all indices of evil.

The same coastal highway they demolished Landmark for is now abandoned for lack of funds. I don't know why Nigeria is so unlucky with leadership.

Konquest:

I watched the full video here and Aliko Dangote spoke calmly and very brilliantly on all the major talking-points while giving technical details. He also said towards the end of the video that Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) would be ready latest the 10th or 12th of August 2024. He said the fire incident slowed things a bit but they have since moved on. Earlier, he said when Dangote Cement started manufacturing, ONLY Lafarge Cement was operating in Nigeria and that NOBODY accused Lafarge Cement of being a monopoly at that time, so, he wonders why anyone would start calling Dangote Cement a monopoly when other cement companies are operating side-by-side with Dangote Cement.

Ever since Aliko Dangote started building that Dangote Petrochemical Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki LGA in Lagos State, a section of Nigerians who are ethnic bigots and who don't like him started attacking him online and offline, and calling him a MONOPOLIST. All the evidence of these attacks can still be read online and offline on NL, X, Facebook, and other crappy blogs and YouTube videos. The dude has indeed bravely invested some of his personal funds and long-term loans to expand his manufacturing base, while already paying back all the loans and is on his way to making a total turnover of 30 billion USD from all his company operations per year. He must be commended for that.

I hope Aliko Dangote can rescind his decision to have a steel plant in Nigeria, but if that plan doesn't align with the long-term vision of Dangote Group, then he can let it slide.

The current President of Nigeria and his economic and security teams MUST ensure that Aliko Dangote (and other investors) continues to do business profitably and ensure that all the inefficiencies and road blocks being put in place by saboteurs are ELIMINATED with ROBUST ruthlessness. Period.

I use to think this was fake but the recent dance of shame yoruba elites are dancing from onanuga to minions like you by avoiding the topic n the fulani messenger to attack igbos who are minding their businesses shows that af@njas are cowards

Some of these people need to understand the difference between having a business and having a profitable business.

Very senseless comment. Dangote Refinery products are priced at an international benchmark. 1) he doesn’t have to sell his products in Nigeria 2) he will make more money not doing so. 3) there is always an international market for his products 4) it is better for him to bybass Nigeria and our wahala. 5) anybody who thinks he can “show” Dangote should not waste his time lobbying international investors.

Dangote is bigger than Nigeria like it or not…..at least for now. Dangote is Nigeria’s no1 ambassador. His voice is vastly greater, he has more clout, what happens to him is more important to the global business /investment community that anything any govt official says or does. If anybody thinks he is trying to get at Dangote, let him know he is getting at Nigeria, you kill Dangote, you kill Nigeria. It doesn’t matter how he got to where he is, he is there now. Again Dangote is bigger than Nigeria. Dangote is not Aliko Dangote, Dangote is an institution and a pillar of Nigeria. You cannot destroy Dangote without destroying Nigeria.

If you want to attack Dangote, learn from him…..play the fool until you are bigger than him.
Some of you Nigerians are ideceptable. How do you justify suffering the environmental and health impacts from the refinery while someone else in far away country enjoys the benefit?
Selling the product to others while his host country is lacking is the height of insensitivity. Yeah, it’s business! But, he saw those other countries before coming to site the refinery in Nigeria.
What you failed to understand is that just one executive order can prevent him from doing that.
You guys stop encouraging sabotage and be patriotic to your country for once.

1.Do Not give in to People that have no Nigerians at heart but only chasing their own selfish ends!
2.those who don't want your Refineries to work are the Agents of Foreigners - who have been working day and night since Nigeria-Independence,just to ensure they Continued to Imports, through the Manipulations of Foreign Currencies( FOREX), thereby ensuring that - Nigeria Will Not Develop as a Nation.

4.On the issues of iron Manufacturing - please, reverse your Decisions and begin your Projects -because Millions of Nigerians, especially the Youths will surely benefit from this huge Projects.
So,why do you want to give in to Social Media outbursts ' Monopoly '.
5.The Word Monopoly is an Economic Word and since you are doing it not for those trying to frustrate your Intention, why don't you Ignore the Noise but face your business, where Millions will benefits!
•Govt ought to talk now to calm down nerves and NIGERIANS are Watching the way things are going on these Issues- on the Refineries and the Iron Productions - which past Govts could not do and become abandoned Projects.

God bless Nigeria!

No thats not it. Nigerians are more invested in the west than anywhere else. There is a reason he said Dubai and he specifically mentioned those who have more money than him. Only a very narrow band falls into that and is also associated with Dubai.

This is the true state of the matter.
Dangote was just bleating.
He enjoyed free offerings: waiver, monopoly in cement economy market, sugar and flour. What is paining Nigerian most, is that of cement.

If the past government had given same free flow of opportunities given to dangoter to others investors like him, he would have not been declared as the Africa Richest man. Many thing are wrong in the past, but Tinubu is ready to correct that.

Watch out for more fights between Dangote and New Cabal. It is a fight to finish.

First, it was the allegation that the FGN has not fulfilled 20% of his refinery deals.
Second, it is about Steel coy....and allegation of monopoly. Before this year runs out, Dangote will be pushed to new level.

He is indeed a capitalist of monopolistic affluence and influence. Same as when MTN and Econet began their madness!

Watch out for more.

I am not supporting/peaking for Tinubu, pls take note.
