"We are on course to liberate the people" - Afamation Movement Leader

By O'star Eze

In the light of the recent controversies surrounding the political affiliation of the leader of Afamation Movement with the All Progressives Congress, APC and the outcries from members of the movement who are for All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Hon. Afam Ezenwafor has broken the silence, insisting that the movement is still on course to fulfill its mandate of liberating the people eco-politically and leaving the society better than it found it.

Speaking to the press at his country home in Ula, Ekwulobia, Saturday, July 20, 2024 while receiving one of the members of the movement, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, CON representing Anambra South Senatorial Zone, Hon. Ezenwafor charged members of the movement to ignore some political motivated negative narratives erupting as a result of his activities as an APC member. He observed that "the Messiah does not come from a popular school of thought," adding that he is resolute in ensuring that Afamation Movement is strategically positioned to fulfill its vision of leaving the society better than it found it and liberating the people.

In his words, "You know, the Messiah is not usually of popular opinion. But soon our people will see that we took the right decision. Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah is a member of the Afamation Movement and I can tell you categorically that he is an icon of the ideology of the movement; "leaving the society better than we met it" and its slogan; "liberation to the people".

"I am happy he honoured my request to replace the spoilt transformer of our people so our power supply can be restored. In his first tenure, he built two ultramodern specialist hospitals in Aguata and gave 50 streetlights each to every ward in Anambra South and he is eager to do more in the areas of human capital development, security and improving the welfare of the people."

In his address to members of the Afamation Movement, Senator Ubah stated that he had come to appreciate Afamation Movement for supporting his successful second term bid at the senate.

Ubah thanked Hon. Afam Ezenwafor and entourage for their warm reception and promised to continue looking out for the interest of the members.
