Sagay is an economic illiterate. He thinks business is a charity. This a man who'd charge 1bn for a case where nothing is manufactured. Does he think crude oil is free? This is a refinery that imports crude oil from overseas. Does he think he gets it free? Last year May, 1 litre of crude oil sold for 47cents, which is around N705. How then do you want him to sell at N600. We haven't added refining cost to the bill. His statement is incendiary and shoild be withdrawn. My greatest fear is when entitled Nigerians unleash their anger on his refinery, sending the nation 10 years back. It might be best he focuses more on export 1 Like |

“So, it is within the powers of the federal government to take over the refinery. They can then sell at the price that Nigerians can afford and then pay him compensation. They can then hand it over back to him when other refineries in Nigeria, like the one in Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna have started producing. He can then continue as a private operator and sell at any price he deems fit”. Only a certified armed robber can come up with this. The government couldn't build a functional refinery so they will take a private initiative by force even when Nigeria is not at war! Some Nigerians are truly evil. |

bennybuhari: The worst part in all these is that after they have messed up the country, they retire as elder statesmen. Attending social functions like heros. I feel majority of the people in our society are just very wicked. When they get leadership positions, they use state institutions to perpetrate their wickedness on the masses. |

It dangote s antecedents from cement I believe there is element of truth in what satay is saying, dangote has always benefited from corrupt cabals like billions of dollars emiefele sold to him at cheap price, if he was some one that luvs Nigeria as he preach , he would have rejected the offer, dangote diesel might be better than the imported in term of low sulphur content because we know our system but leaving everything to dangote is a heavy risk. |
