Trump had earlier accused Biden of using prosecutors to target his political opponents.

Donald Trump has called for the immediate resignation of US President Joe Biden.

Trump who made this call in a series of posts on his popular social media platform, Truth Social accused Biden of fabricating his recent Coronavirus case.

He also accused him of being a threat to the country’s democracy.

Trump said, “Biden never had COVID, he is a threat to democracy. If he can't run for office, he can't run our country.”

He continued: “lt's not over! Tomorrow Crooked Joe Biden's going to wake up and forget that he dropped out of the race today! Who is running our Country right now? lt's not Crooked Joe, he has no idea where he is. lf he can't run for office, he can't run our Country!!!”

Biden on Sunday endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for the presidential election. Biden’s endorsement of Harris came shortly after he withdrew from the presidential race following public pressure, particularly from his party members.

Kamala Harris thanked President Biden for his support after he endorsed her as the Democratic nominee for the presidential election.
