tatutatu:It is obvious that you don't know what it means to be establishf. Chief priest has investments. As a matter of fact, this same built an hotel for his kid son. Being wealthy doesn't necessarily mean you must be equal with the owner of Ashok Leyland. He sprays and displays his wealth because he has it. It's just his way of having fun. |

[this Nigeria own law. Must you inmitate all the time?quote author=shortgun post=131100408]Till now nobody has been able to explain how spraying of naira at events affects its value and purchasing power. People have been spraying dollar and other foreign currencies yet their value keeps appriciating against the naira even after the ban on spraying naira[/quote] |

Truvelisback:hotels? I'm talking about manufacturing industry as something Africans lack a sense of doing even when they're wealthy, comparing them to poorer white folks who put the little they have into manufacturing. Hotels cannot develop a country or provide jobs like manufacturing industry. If you want to be honest with ourselves, we don't spray money because we want to give to the celebrant, we do it because we want to show off. |

shortgun: It is not about how it affect the value or purchasing power but about money spent in maintaining clean notes in circulation and replacing the dirty ones are are as a result of mishandling such as spraying and stepping on it which is very huge. Why not package your money in envelopes and give to the celebrant rather than showing off through spraying of money. Mostly, we don't spray dollars bills as we spray naira. Black mentality |

onomej4u1:If people in government are not dumb they shouldn't have banned the Spraying of naira notes which is practiced as a tradition by many cultures. They should have banned the Spraying of foreign currency instead, that way people with foreign currency will be forced to convert it to naira for spraying and create more liquidity thereby strengthening the naira. All over the world Central banks replace mutilated notes at no cost to the citizens as the costs are already covered by the various charges, and fees they impose |
