"A prophet is not honoured in his town" ~ Jesus The above statement is so true that it happens even in our families, some of us don't take our own relatives seriously. I think after the tenure of Tinubu, the northerner that will take over will make things a little better than now as Dangote's refinery would be able to buy our crude and refine here then sell cheaper. We should be taking advantage of it than fight it. White people will be laughing at us now as very huge f00|s. In fact, the protest demand should be thus: 1. Since we now have at least one working refinery in Nigeria, let FG bring back petrol subsidy. 2. Let crude oil be sold to Dangote refinery at a very low subsidised rate under an agreement that would birth no. 3 below. 3. Let FG regulate the prices of the refined subsidised product in Nigeria as thus per litre: a. Diesel - N200 b. Fuel - N100 c. Kerosene - N50 and watch how hardship drops overnight. 2 Likes |

Dangote is the real deal! If Gabon wants to boost their economy, bringing in Dangote is a solid move. His investments create jobs and drive development. Other African countries should take note. Let’s see how this plays out! 8 Likes |

From Gabon, other countries will start inviting him. It may even be some Governor in one small state in the US next. Then the Nigerians who chased him away will start complaining about brain drain and how the West is against Africa's progress Nobody is talking about the greedy oil marketers who have been fleecing Nigerians through subsidy payments and other means while not building a single refinery despite sometimes even pledging to do so as part of their oil deals. It's Dangote that decided to do his own the "Jeff Bezos way" that the Cabal and their supporters are more worried about 1 Like |

You cant shakara us with Gabon. The honey you have been licking in Nigeria made you the richest black man in the world. You are a finessing Oligarch. Everybody knows that. Lucky to have had so many administration in your pockets. This is the first time he is hitting a real speed bump. Largest refinery without 1 single Niger-Delta ownership. Dangote its time to relax and count your blessings. Open a refinery in Gabon too. 2 Likes |

Total population of Gabon as a country is not up to Alimosho and Ifako-Ijaiye Local Governments in Lagos. The larger the population, the larger the market. I hope the government and Dangote resolve their differences soonest. |

Remman:Nigeria is not the only country in the world. Some decisions taken in Nigeria are eternally influenced. If fuel comes too cheap government won't have enough money to run governance. Secondly, smuggling will increase. The only thing Tinubu did wrong was the abysmal depreciation of naira. If naira could creep back to less than #1000 to a dollar most things will fall back to shape. Internationally a liter of fuel is $0.5. When a dollar was say #700 that was #350 a liter. Now dollar is 1600 and that is #800. Transportation and storage and taxes raised it to over #1000 per liter. Government is paying subsidy to get it at a lower rate presently. 1 Like |

THAT'S A SERIOUS ONE. WELL DONE GABON. ORISA37 TINUBU SHOULD TRANSFER THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMANSHIP OF AJAOKUTA TO DANGOTE FOR ONE YEAR, TO BE RENEWABLE, AND SEE TRANSFORMATION. |

Sapasenator: A lot of us Nigerians are retarded, cant think objectively and cannot see through things for what they are even if its staring right into our face. Are you that dumb? that you cant see whats happening Dangote isn't a messiah but the powers that be are currently against him to keep us in the same cycle of poverty. Ask yourself why since independence none of our refinery has worked to its capacity and Nigeria always have to export petroleum products for refinement, buy it back and then get paid subsidy for the same products every month, thats an infinite money glitch. You see the average Nigeria deserves whatever situation we are in because alot of us are not sound, everything is personal to you people. Either on the basis of tribe, religion or any other classist metrics of your choosing. Everytime i come to read comments, I see why our leaders have their foot on our throats, average African from any of our neighbors do not have this so low thought process, the bar for reasoning in Nigeria keeps falling among the youth, everyone is just after consumption. I wish something can be done to save our nation but I choose to save myself first. |

chrisxxx:There is no law that says Nigeria's crude must be sold to Dangote at $0.5. It's totally up to the government what they want to do and how they want their citizens to live or suffer. This is a complex matter and i don't think you'll understand what is actually going on. So, let's leave the matter to what it is. |
