It is a bit difficult to implement in some cases.

But it will work , eg private school teachers, private companies etc

Most casual employers won't be able to afford it.
I know several private schools that are not even paying the old Min wage. How can they now pay the new min wage?

As per implementation, it's only employers that issue Employment Letters & Payslips that you can have evidence against, to tender in a Law Court.

There will also be a massive increase in cost of living, unless Govt introduce counter measures to fight inflation.

A lot of work still has to be done.

It applied to federal government workers ONLY except for states where their governor is looking for second term or rich states like Lagos Delta and 1 or 2 others no state is paying 70k minimum wage talkless of local government workers. Private schools will continue to pay 15k salary to their teachers and that's a fact

Just leave all these clowns. Let all the state governors pay first before night even look at the news.

Secondly Nigerians including this Senate president didn't bother to read the entire minimum wage law to note those who are exempt from this increment to their staff, So that tailor and driver nonsense makes him a big fool.

The number 1 lawmaker in the country doesn't even know the law which was amended and which he is speaking on.

The minimum wage is ridiculous even at 70k. That being said it does not negate the fact of what the law says, the law isn't emotional as you are.

If you're organisation doesn't have upto 25 staff nothing like that. Secondly many businesses cannot afford to pay that amount of money every month. They'll either shut down or load one staff with wok and get rid of the others.

Some people I agree are just business men good or bad you get paid, they too wouldn't pay more than the market value despite profits being made.

Finally that law maker you're quoting has spoken thrash. He'll soon come and re explain himself when he has been told what the truth is . I'll look and quote you when he does so.
