So you are saying Nigerian politicians don't buy scores of luxurious homes abroad?

Don't worry, Tinubu's four years would soon come and go.

Hopefully, your sense would come back after he has left office in 2027.

A former British prime minister said that if the money that have been looted from Nigeria was stolen from the UK, their country would cease to exist.

This is the UK - One of the oldest and most resilient nations in the world.

And yet one of their former PM said they would cease to exist if they had politicians as terrible as that of Nigeria.

Why is everything a joke and politics to you? The joke is on you because the doctor is doing well for himself in Canada with his family. Someone who show up his face and said this is the fourth house the politician will be buying this year through him to settle his children and everything to you is a lie and joke because he didn't mention his name. If he mentioned his name, what will you do?

Smiling and suffering. People like you is the reason many of us will never return to that shithole of a country called Nigeria. Even if na poo I dey park, no problem as long as the salary comes in pounds, 247 electricity, good water and healthcare service. Sometimes reflect, everything is not polities. The people you are defending here have their children life's planned out while you suffer and come online to defend them. The joke is on you.

"No name" government official. This is dead on arrival.

Name and shame. Name the official so that EFCC can investigate. If the EFCC can't, report to Canadian authorities.

Do not protect your criminal friend if true.
Even your government has refused to name the sponsors of terrorism in the country

Canada-based Nigerian doctor narrates how a federal government official reached out to him to facilitate purchase of his fourth house this year shocked

Sharing the experience on social media, the medical doctor revealed that the government official said he wants to settle his children as he does not know how long the current government will last.

However when the medical doctor confronted this official who pays cash only for houses he buys abroad given the current state of things in Nigeria, he allegedly said that those in diaspora always make it look like things are bad in Nigeria.

The doctor pushed back at this by stating that many Nigerians have camera phones and they see things happening in the country on social media.

He went on to say he doesn’t want anything to do with the govenrment official again, so all his punishments from God will go directly to him.

The doctor also told youths planning a protest that he’s with them in the spirit as politicians in the country only loot without tackling challenges Nigerians face.

Doc:

I respect you as a person. You come from a respectful and well-to-do family. But this story doesn't add up.
If the story is true, you won't bring it online as a content. Just saying... But go ahead, get more followers.

This doctor of a man is part and parcel of the problem in Nigeria and he is also an accessory to the financial crime because it seems that he has facilitated and assisted the government official in buying three houses and hence have collected commission on those three.

Personally am not interested in any name. But it is only a zombie that will tell you that they are not aware that government officials loot this country dry while investing them in abroad. These zombies will act as if they don't know. Keep waiting for the name.

This man too dey talk. Sometimes, I listen to him. Why not name the government official? Or he is chasing clout as usual in his old age. Nigerians abroad always supporting protests in Nigeria. I don't like what is happening in Nigeria but I won't support any protests because of unintended consequences.

how many houses can they stay at a time? no where to hide the loot so they buy properties which might be claimed by the government of that country after they died.

You are a newbie in investments. Which government will claim the property? You think the buyer does not have records!

With the real estate boom and housing crises in Canada today, that property will service itself for years to come.

They don’t buy it and leave it empty, they rent it out. Also, they don’t manage or collect rent. All administrations are contracted out.

Politicians are one of the smartest people in Nigeria. Far ahead of an average Nigerian citizen.

I never stated that stealing is good. I am just telling you what they do since you said the foreign government will claim it.

They have learnt from Abacha and why they don’t stash again. They get assets across the world in different names.
