Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, who represents Anambra South Senatorial District and is a leading aspirant for the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged the support of party members in the state. As part of his ongoing consultative visits, Senator Ubah is making a concerted effort to inform members of the party of his intention to contest the state's APC governorship primary next year.

On Sunday, July 21, 2024, Senator Ubah was received by Hon. Chief Ezenwa Ekwuaju, Anambra North Zonal Chairman of APC, at his residence in Enu-Onitsha, Onitsha North Local Government Area.
On Monday, July 22, 2024, he visited Engr. Michael Muofunanya (Nedu Awka), a former Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Awka North and Awka South Federal Constituencies, at his home in Awka, Awka South Local Government Area.

During these visits, Senator Ubah expressed gratitude for the efforts made by the members of the party in strengthening the APC in Anambra State. He officially announced his candidacy in the upcoming gubernatorial primary and asked for their support. Senator Ubah assured them of his commitment to the values ​​of the party and to delivering good governance if elected.

Engr. Muofunanya and Hon. Ekwuaju acknowledged Senator Ubah’s outstanding role in promoting the ideology of the party, lauded his patriotism. They gave him their blessings and supported his governorship aspirations.
