PRESS RELEASE.

WE WILL NOT JOIN ANY PROTEST, WE CHOOSED THE PATH OF DIALOGUE

Dear Npower Beneficiaries,

The National Association of Npower Beneficiaries categorically states that we will not participate in any shady protest aimed at dislodging the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The recent "End Bad Governance" protest, scheduled for August 1st to 10th, has devolved into a revolution seeking to destabilize the country. We refuse to be part of such illegal gatherings, as our primary objective is to engage relevant stakeholders in government to secure payment of our unpaid stipends through legitimate means.

As responsible citizens, we urge all Nigerians to exercise caution before joining any protest. It is essential to ask critical questions: Who are the organizers and national leaders of the protest? Who are the sponsors? What are the motives, aims, and objectives of the protest? If these questions cannot be answered satisfactorily, it is wise to distance oneself from the protest. We cannot afford to be misled into supporting agendas that may harm our nation.

In light of this, the National Association of Npower Beneficiaries reaffirms our commitment to constructive engagement with government stakeholders to address our grievances. We will not resort to revolting against constituted authority under the guise of protest. Instead, we will continue to advocate for our rights through peaceful and lawful means. We urge all members to remain calm and avoid involvement in the August Revolution or Protest, as we work towards a resolution that benefits all parties involved.

Office of the National Publicity Secretary
