Hoodlums are definitely ready to capitalise on the protest and big shop owners will not pray to experience the breaking, entry and looting of shops, especially electronic shops, that happened during Endsars.Hoodlums and even non hoodlums don't care that most of the shop owners too are struggling.I remember generator shops were burgled and we saw people carrying looted gens on the streets. |

Beremx:Your customers are hungry. Do you think it makes business sense for you who depend on them to stay in business to not then protest along with them against the bad government that has devalued their money reducing them to hunger? |

confusedlady: I guess Buhari must also be Igbo since her support is based on tribe. You people are yet to come to terms about freedom of Choice in this country. There are many Yorubas and non Yorubas in APC, Pdp and others. Thank God you confirmed she supported Buhari. Trump and Biden both had supporters in America. But a win for one is a win for all. Now that Tinubu is the president, did the hunger spare the APC supporters? Your guess is as good as mine. |

CilicMarin:Read well. it's not about Oro but their business interests. They don't want Agberos to loot their shops in the name of protesting. |

Nyamiriflathed:No, they didn't join pro oro movement. But their business interests is what they are protecting. |
Re: Alaba Traders Oppose Planned Protests by historic: 7:20pm On Jul 26 |
Which rubbish Oro!?... The Alaba traders are only trying to protect their shops and businesses from being looted by rampaging Agberos should Incase any problem arises (which is typical of Nigeria) from the planned protest and not because of any useless Oro! |

Santalpharay: Based on this your logic. Why are Ibos agitated that Yorubas voted for Tinubu during the presidential election. Why are Ibos so bitter and disturbed that Yorubas like Toyin Abraham voted for her choice in Tinubu? 1 Like |

Tinubu approved #55 Billion to Bribe all the groups, Nans.... etc to call off the protest. The only thing Tinubu can do is... Bribe! Bribe and bribe his way through The way he Bribed his way to Aso Rock villa |
Re: Alaba Traders Oppose Planned Protests by Santalpharay: 8:26pm On Jul 26 |
confusedlady:The only disagreement was that people saw the election as a fraud, citing rigging. People can voice out if they feel cheated. Unlike the unruly behaviors from Oluomo boys threatening Igbo voters up and down. Nowhere in the whole country was voters threatened by their hosts across NIGERIA except in Yoruba land. Moral lesson. No more will anybody's personal ambition will surpass the risk to the general well-being of the whole masses. Now the hardship from Tinubu's administration exempts nobody, including Yorubas and all APC members and supporters. |

Imagine someone looking for a catapult seller today seriously just because of the police when the protest begins. Just think about that! He seriously swore that he wants to k*ll a policeman and not just injure one! I was like, "just imagine people planning protest"!!!. He plans to commit the act on the mainland, then move to the island. I was just looking at him like a mumu that he is. Told me to help him buy the catapult just in case I see the seller before him! I laughed inside.... |

Make una just dey play! If a single tyre goes up in flames or any propertyβpublic or privateβis maliciously damaged or set ablaze, you fools from the land of primitive forest-dwelling ancestors will bear the painful consequences of it all. Your kinsmen, who are barking up and down on X, have already shown your real intent; therefore, this 'we are not joining the protest' stance does not hold any water! Just pray that the protest remains very peaceful for as long as it lasts. Should anything get out of hand, you fools will pay a very heavy price; your cup is already full! Crazy fools from cursed,tiny,erosion-ravaged land of criminals;you claim you don't support protests in the day but you're holding clandestine meetings at night plotting how to destroy Yoruba land and its people. You fools have no idea;the calamity that will befall you is unprecedented. 2 Likes |

phemray:Agbero can burn government properties if they are in agreement with government to do that. Have you forgotten that Agbero are an arm of lagos state government evil scheme? They should steer clear of private properties in Lagos. |

confusedlady: Did I hear you say a man. Just a single man in a whole region. Even if few men. You can actually score them 95% credible. But across South west, a war was declared against other parties, especially Labour Party. They even rejected their own blood brother Gbadebo, calling him Chinedu, calling Obasanjo Igbo man. Causing mayhem and havoc everywhere. If you don't accept opposition during election, then we should shed elections in Nigeria. Presidents should be by appointment, selection, or outright sale to the highest bidder. Enough said please. Let us enjoy our dear Tinubu. So far he is our tribesman, we will accept the hunger and starvation for 34 years. If you cannot cope with it, please give up. Until we decide to get sense in Nigeria. |
Re: Alaba Traders Oppose Planned Protests by confusedlady(f): 8:46am On Jul 27 |
Santalpharay: Below is part of your initial tribalistic post. "Nowhere in the whole country was voters threatened by their hosts across NIGERIA except in Yoruba land." Now you have been exposed to be a liar through this video here. πππππππ https://youtube.com/shorts/c_CVh6csijg?si=bQISIQfTqUHzErxP You are now dancing all over the thread explaining and turning akpu and Nsala soup. Listen, this is 2024. You can not come on any thread where I am a participant and bring out unverified theories from the air or your behind and think you will go unchallenged. That might have been happening in the past but if you do it in today's world. You.will be challenged, fact checked and exposed for the charlatan you are. My warmest regards. |

Re: Alaba Traders Oppose Planned Protests by Santalpharay: 3:35pm On Jul 27 |
confusedlady: I still maintain my stance. Election was peaceful throughout South East. That they beat one man ( according to you) does not make the election violence like in South west. Forget about your claims of being smart. The statement you dug was only posted a day or two ago and you are acting as if you went to 16th century to bring it out. Ultimately how are you enjoying the product of your violence |
