Protest will not destroy a nation but it will force the government to listen to the people and take actions. Protest is necessary, a decade ago, we all saw the effects of nationwide protest against GEJ attempt to remove fuel subsidy, it worked abi . So why people fretting over an upcoming protest today? some have claim it is a tribal thing. Personally it is not a tribal thing at all. Protest is more against the bad government where inflation is bad, people are hungry and not happy with the economy. If the economy was doing well, food price were affordable- there will be no need to protest. It is a simple as that. and if you do not get it, then you do not get it. 2 Likes |

atoliman:I want the protest to hold but only if peaceful. I am doing okay, but I support people not doing okay so I am also feeling it a lil bit. That been said, I also dislike the hypocrisy I am seeing from some quarters like them refusing to protest in places where the governors are still paying 18k a month, or Sowore's calling the protest days of Rage. It's being hijacked by some useless people. Does Sowore even know the meaning of rage? That alone would make a lot of people stay away. 1 Like |
