In a statement today by Comrade Julius Uwaifo who is a formal Student Union leader in Uniben said its disheartening that Some individuals was not part of thr inauguration of the Youth Parliament today.

Comrade Julius said he was not shocked, but was disappointed at the Edo State Youth Council Chairman, Moses Agwinede Joseph and some selfish leaders for been the architect of the problem in the youth Parliament.

You will remember that same Moses Agwinede Joseph using his personal Aid Alasa to send a broadcast accusing the present Commissioner of youth and the perm sec of the ministry of playing games with the list and that they are trying to impose one of Comrade Shaibu Boy as speaker of the Youth Parliament, which Goodness believed him to help him win the speakership by blackmailing the Commissioner.

In bid to clear the air on the broadcast circulated by Alasa, Hon.Shadrach did a counter message explaining and exunurating the Commissioner of Youth and the Perm Sec from the issues raised by Moses Agwinede Joseph.


The Special Adviser made it clear that only the qualified Edo Youth who passed the screening was selected and that the Commissioner of youth didn't and won't impose any one on the Parliament.

Comr Julius thanked the Governor of Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki for looking into the issues of the Youth Parliament and resolving the issues.

He said Comrade Goodness shot himself from day 1 for believing that Comrade Moses Agwinede will help himself and others achieve thier goal.

he said if Moses Agwinede Joseph can betray the Governor of Edo state by parlying with other parties candidate just because he feels federal power my not allow Asue Ighodalo to win the coming election, all in the name to secure his seat as Chairman, will not sale you out for a pot of porridge.

He advice Comrade Moses Agwinede Joseph to stay off from the youth Parliament issues and focus on addresing issues happening in the council, he said same moses who is accusing and blackmailing everyone,including his Excos Members of working with Comrade Philip Shaibu and APC, whereas he is the one working with Comrade Shaibu and going around at night to meet with Labour party candidate and that of Apc.
It's even shocking to note that since he came into power as chairman, he has revarted back to the same Comrade Philip Shaibu group who before now took over the Youth House for thier selfish intrest.

Comrade Julius Uwaifo also accused the Chairman, Comrade Moses Agwinede Joseph of diverting the Montly subvention that our dear Governor promise and have also fulfilled to various Organizations that is afflicted to the council and stipends for his fellow executives.

He further challenged Comrade Moses Agwinede Joseph to reciprocate the good gesture of the Governor Obaseki Administration giving to him and his executives during the crises that birthed his excos by coming out fully to support the candidate of the party, Dr Asue Ighodalo and Hon Osarodion Ogie, even when he claims to be from Esan, yet No voters card to show for it.

He said the inauguration of the Parliament today shows that the Governor cares for people.

He appreciated the Commissioner of youth and Humanatarian Affairs, Hon.Zubairu Dada Anubakar, the permanent secretary and the Special Adviser on Youth to the Governor, Hon Shedrach Udugbai for thier various commitment in making sure Edo Youths are not left behind.
