Manu Bhaker, born on February 18, 2002, is an accomplished Indian sport shooter from Goria village in Haryana. She attended Universal Senior Secondary School in Jhajjar, where she balanced her education with her growing passion for shooting. Manu began her shooting career at the age of 14, quickly making a name for herself in the sport.

Her first major international success came in 2017 when she won a silver medal at the Asian Junior Championships. The following year, she made history by becoming the youngest Indian to win two gold medals at the ISSF World Cup. Manu continued her winning streak by securing a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

In 2024, Manu Bhaker achieved a significant milestone by winning a bronze medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol event at the Paris Olympics, making her the first Indian woman to win an Olympic shooting medal. She trains at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi, where her dedication and hard work have made her a prominent figure in Indian sports.

Manu's journey from a small village to the global stage is a testament to her talent and determination. She serves as an inspiration to many young athletes in India, encouraging them to pursue their dreams in shooting.
