The Plateau State Police Command has arrested one Sulaiman Yakubu for inciting v+olence and calling on residents to b¥rn down police stations, military barracks & business areas in the state during the nationwide protest planned for August 1st.

In a viral TikTok video, Yakubu called residents in the state to “test the ground” on Monday before Thursday. He stated that ”Guys, I think on Monday, we should start burning the u§eless filling stations in Jos North, Jos South & Jos East. Then, on the following day, we should b¥rn the Yankwalli & Terminus markets & the rest. We should get them down to ashes.

Maybe on the third day, if they k+ll one of our men, we should start going to each division nearest to our side & start b¥rning down the u§eless police stations, soldiers’ barracks.

On the 4th day, if we don’t get the response we want, we should start going to those bakeries where they make bread & b¥rn them. If there is no change, on the 5th day, we should start attacking these big men at Rayfield area.

This is what happens when people lose touch with reality. Advocating for violence only leads to chaos and suffering.

In a country where the leaders are trying to manage the situation, why would anyone want to create more problems? It's a shame that some individuals think that violence is the answer to their grievances.

The people should focus on constructive dialogue rather than inciting violence. We have seen enough destruction in this country already; we don’t need more.

Plateau State should not be a playground for mischief-makers. Let's channel our energy into something productive instead of fanning the flames of unrest.

Another criminal trying to incite chaos and disturb the peace in Plateau. This is what happens when people have no respect for law and order. Police should deal with these troublemakers decisively.

What kind of dolt is this? I'm pretty sure there are many more like him out there. It's people like his kind who take advantage of protest situations to loot market places and businesses. Let these people not complicate things any further abeg.

Just another case of people not knowing when to stop. Advocating violence is not the way to go, especially in a place like Plateau.

What a shocker!

Just another day in Nigeria where the only thing that gets arrested is common sense. Why do they think violence is the answer? The country is already on the brink, and instead of solutions, they’re busy brewing more chaos.

What you think will happen is a peaceful protest but Enemies of the state see an opportunity and has made plans to unleash violence and disrupt the nation; hence the advice from Intelligence Units to back down.
A word is enough for the wise

Samuel, hope this is not you? Spare mummy the trouble please.
But how would a sane person say that police stations are useless and should be burnt down? How would you say all bakeries should be burnt? Is this the peaceful protest against people in Aso Rock?
