So he shouldn't have signed the bill or what exactly is your point?
This's not the right time for that rubbish, he'd have done that since last week the senate passed it. What majority of Nigerians need right now is the return of fuel subsidy to reduse the hardship in the land.!!

Hardship my as$.If you're lazy you would be left behind. Most Nigerians are lazy unfortunately, they're always wanting for the government to spoon feed them. Some are not suffering, they only want to protest because their preferred candidate is not in Aso Villa.
PS:I just bought a car from my efforts and the right government policies in my state which is been complemented by the FG.

Does signing the bill this week or any other week in any way stop him from doing other necessary things?

Why did it take him less than 1 week after the senate passed it, and 72 hrs before the mass protest, to sign the bill, but sign the national athem bill less than 24 hrs after the senate passed it??

Proactiveness is for people with brains. You are reactionary that is why you are essentially shallow grin

seunmsg:

It is not fear but proactiveness. No responsible government will fold its hand and do nothing when a group of people are planning to protest considering how the last protest ended. Protest can be hijacked and can lead to a lot of unpleasant outcomes. If there are things that can be done to avert or weaken it, it should be done quickly.

Do you think that maybe the national anthem bill was perhaps much less weighty when compared with the minimum wage bill?

Cows are more valuable than RONU ives. grin

Ask your three OBAs.. grin

Throwback:

What better response to somebody who thinks because he is employed now, the newly signed minimum wage is of no benefit when he goes job hunting?

Let that person continue grazing the grass like a cow that never works.

Because he is working for UK and France who want the anthem back. The anthem contains pejorative words like "native land", "tribes" both colonial terms used on conquered peoples.
