The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has said that poverty and hard times have always been major concern of Nigerians from time immemorial.

MURIC noted that inflation was global and that hunger was common around the world.

The group described the proposed nationwide hunger protest as an invitation to the mother of all hunger.

It said the organisers should rather toe the path of patience and dialogue.

MURIC made this known in a statement signed on Tuesday, by its Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola.

“We warn clearly, categorically and emphatically that what the organisers call hunger protest is an invitation to the mother of all hunger.

“Instead of unleashing anger on the government and its paraphernalia, the organisers should engage the government in dialogue bearing in mind the consequences of violent protests around the world.

“Two other things that should be considered are the fact that inflation is global and hunger is common around the world.

“Nigeria is affected because we are not an island. The second consideration is the antiquity of hardship in Nigeria.

“Poverty and hard times have always been major concern of Nigerians from time immemorial. It is therefore too hasty and unfair to hang it all on a regime that is barely one year old,” part of the statement read.

Foolish talk undecided

Hard times have always been with nigerians so they should be patient - MURIC
. . . See how he said it, as if Nigerans can never get tired or fed up with hardship and suffering

Meanwhile the government are getting their own allowances and salaries plus bonuses on time, no reductions, no delays 🙄

Just wait let the protest get hijacked as APC are planning, let us see if those same government officials will be safe surrounded by wounded, hungry and angry Nigerians 😠

You want us to be suffering silently in the midst of government inflicted hardship abi? Because they created new ministry for you guys undecided

Stop discouraging protesters who want to exercise their rights.
If you are afraid of protests, tell Tinubu to open his mouth and say "Subsidy is Gone Back"

Yoruba organization doing what sophisticated foolishness is known for.

A HAMAS supporter
A TALIBAN supporter

An organization that has never condemned the killings by FULANI Herdsmen in the SW. Even when 3 OBAs were killed.

These are the bodies and organisations that expose the typical mannerism of people that claim to love NIGERIA.

Shameless people

Inflation is global and hunger is common around the world.
And does MURIC knows that the government he enthroned have greatly worsened the same indices of these anomalies from where he met them?

The religious card

That's how one foolish Northern governor said the people should see the hardship as an act of God yet there's always food in his house and his salary is never delayed, he has security and can afford medication abroad... Islam particular is part of the biggest problem in Nigeria especially. Now that a Yoruba man is president the Yoruba Muslims are now playing both tribal and religious games
... The same Islam and Muslim Muslim tickets was what was used to decieve you guys during campaigns..... Your dog face imams come to Abuja to collect money and incite you to vote religiously and also to pacify you to not protest while they have enough to eat and drink.... One day you religious and tribal fools will either be wise or die from the effects of your leadership choices
