The District Head of Bosso in Minna Emirate Council in Niger State, Alhaji Mu’azu Adamu Laka Bosso, has relieved one Abdullahi Isah, aka Biodun, of the title: Wakilin Matasan Bosso.

In a letter titled: “Letter of dismissal”, Alhaji Mu’azu, who did not give the reason for the sack, said: “I hereby write to inform you that you have been dismissed from your title as Youth Leader of Bosso (Wakilin Matasan Bosso) with immediate effect from 28/07/2024. You should no longer call yourself as Youth Leader of Bosso.”

But in an interview with Tsalle Daya, a Hausa programme on Prestige, the district head said that Biodun was stripped of his title for declaring support for the forthcoming nationwide protest over hardship.

The district head was cited as saying his domain would not condone any act that would lead to breakdown of law and order.

This is nonsense, why so much fear about the protest? All the government need do is to assure Nigerians that things will be better soon and also to act very fast.

Honestly I don't defend rubbish because trying so hard to stop a protest is rubbish for me.

Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.

Like Jesus said, He that continues to the end, the same shall be saved

It is better to loose a string and beads, than die of death induced by hunger and hardship. The same District head will still come to your house to beg when hunger wants to wipe out his family. grin grin grin grin angry cry cry cry cry cry

He is still going out to protest, if he's not careful, i hope he doesnt lose both

Sometimes, most of u view world from a small two-sides geometric prism

U think this kinda movement is worth losing everything for? Nigerians will move on by Aug 11, some would have successfully cashed out by then and he'll be lonely in his room feeling worthless

The day u understand Life is a game of hit or get hit, that day...

Every office has its guidelines and regulations which if violated will be subject to disciplinary actions!
As a title holder he should have known better the consequences involved in his actions.

How much did you contribute into the rebuilding trust fund when properties were burnt down and businesses looted in the aftermath of 2020 protest?. The same set of people who flooded MTN's office yesterday and destroyed their fence, prompting a total shut down of their offices. These responses of government is not out of fear but prevention. Nigerian masses are quick to destroy.

So, Nigeria should never be fixed? Like, Nigerians should continue to die of hunger, no electricity, terrible roads, terrible health care system?
So, u think the whites countries we run to and snap pictures came without series of protests?
No wonder the black race is the most backward race on earth. Cowards!

So, in summary...

Let the statusquo remain... Let those suffering, continue suffering and dying, while those financially more comfortable should keep thriving.

As long as nothing bothers your people in Power, since its their turn to rule.

Same question I posed to the fellow above...!

Maybe amnesia or short-term memory has made them forget that the people fighting tooth and nail to crush protests once organised and pushed hard with protests against a democratic government while in the opposition.
