Jsyk This protest was never about Ndigbo, bad governance or Betterment of Nigeria. Just a misunderstanding between urchins and the aboki bandits in the north. Stay clear of this protest if you're an igbo and you love your life 22 Likes 2 Shares |

LegendHero:Dont listen to what they say, but what they do. They are the promoter-in-chief of this protest, yet not a single location in se was designated for the protest, yet they have bn opening hundreds of threads canvassing for the protests. Even when you listen to radio stations, na dem dey call in to always tell whoever cares to listen why they have right to protest anywhere and why d protest must go on. There's no group in nigeria that wants this protest to hold than them haslaw:Can u imagine that the instigators-in-chief of the protest have no plan to protest in their own base? Same thing happened in Jan 15, 1966: coup (spearheaded by them) was executed in other parts of nigeria except iigboland Same thing happened again in october 2020: endsars protest (arrow-headed by them) in other regions but iigboland. Now in 2024, they want to replicate the same thing again. 18 Likes 3 Shares

SS did not partake in 2012 protest, SE also stayed away because Jonathan literally handed over the country to the SE leaders then. They felt it was their government. Yorubas protested in Lagos and other states. In 2020, North stayed away from Endsars protest because they thought it was a scheme to take power from Buhari. In 2024, Yorubas said they are not against peaceful protest but let everybody protest in their state/region so that we can properly manage the protesters and protect infrastructures I still don't understand why some people are crying 😂 #Defend_Lagos 27 Likes 5 Shares

OnlineTeacher: While Igbos are doing their legitimate businesses in the any part of the country, they should be careful especially to those who have a wicked mindset to towards them. The post here in nairaland has exposed the mindset towards Igbos 11 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Planned Protest: Stay At Home — Lagos Ndigbo Tells Igbos by OnlineTeacher: 2:38am On Jul 31 |
But the posts of igbós online has not exposed the minds of igbós towards other nigerians, abi?? If other regions that gave u 'assylum' replicate what ur own flesh and blood (Ipób/ugm) do to you, will u even have the peace of mind to do that "legitimate business"? Keep playing. 9japride:If other regions are as cruel to ndigbos as u have been to others (especially northerners), will u have the temerity to do business up north?? Your hate towards others (especially northerners) is so conc that u killed an harmless pregnant hausa woman with her 4 kids just bcus she came from d 'wrong region'........and u still have d mind to be pointing accusing fingers?? 15 Likes 4 Shares

LegendHero:The moment they start regurgitating the same lines used by the Tinubu-nutjobs you are alll but sure money don touch their hands. How much is now the question since the government of the day discriminates as it goes about with its massive bribery and corruption campaign to stop the protest. I heard some groups were paid a mere Naira 1500 not to protest. While some others were paid between N5000 and N10,000. Niger Delta youths, 10,000 of them were each promised a monthly stipend of about Naira 50,000 for six months, whereas some Imams and maybe some pastors were handed Naira 16 million each. Student group heads were given about Naira 750,000, and so on. Then you have the free bags of rice handed out for free in the northern states while in the Southern states, it was announced that 50kg bags of rice would be sold at Naira 40,000 We are yet to confirm this isn't yet another audio promise. From the much I have gathered, it seems that those who would choose not to protest are not having it any better than those who choose to go out there to vent their anger and frustration. 6 Likes |

OnlineTeacher: Igbos are respectful to their host communities and also people they accommodate. Since the beginning of this country, Igbos have been killed in senseless crises in the north and their businesses destroyed. You didn't talk about that one. I doubt if you are a northerner? From my understanding, the north don't have problem with Igbos. This mischievous act of involving the north in negative talk about the Igbos is very childish. If you want to address issues with Igbos, please try to avoid involving the northerners. Igbos have no issues with them. They are the major tribe doing businesses in the eastern region and Igbo treat them well. The issue of Unknown gun men will be exposed on day. 8 Likes |
