These cabals are always lurking in the shadows, ready to manipulate the unsuspecting youths for their own gain. It's funny how they cry out against the system while being the very architects of chaos.

If only these protesters understood that their voices are being hijacked by those who only care about their power struggles. Instead of genuine change, all they’re doing is fueling the fire of division.

Meanwhile, the real issues affecting the common man are pushed aside, as these so-called leaders play their games. It's a shame how easily they forget the lessons of history; we’ve seen this script before, and it never ends well.

The notion that any protest against the dire living conditions in Nigeria is sponsored by the opposition is not only laughable but also deeply insulting to the intelligence of the Nigerian people. The presidency’s consistent narrative of blaming a shadowy “cabal” for every sign of public dissatisfaction is getting old and tired. It’s the same tired excuse used during the Buhari administration, and now Tinubu’s government is recycling it. If the Nigerian people voted you into power, why then do you keep ceding control to this so-called cabal?

The claim that President Tinubu’s policies are revolutionary and that youth inclusivity is being undermined by enemies of progress is a smokescreen. It is a convenient way to deflect attention from the real issues: rampant unemployment, skyrocketing inflation, and a deteriorating standard of living. The average Nigerian is not protesting because they are being manipulated by some faceless cabal; they are protesting because they are hungry, frustrated, and tired of empty promises.

Asefon’s statements about the unparalleled achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly in the education sector, ring hollow. Student loans and resolving conflicts with lecturers are indeed commendable, but they are far from sufficient. The youth of Nigeria are not looking for token gestures; they are demanding a systemic change that addresses their daily struggles.

The constant refrain of “be patient” while urging the suspension of protests for fear of mayhem is a tactic to silence legitimate dissent. Protests are a fundamental right in any democracy, a tool for the voiceless to express their grievances. To dismiss them as the work of saboteurs is to ignore the real and pressing issues facing Nigerians.

Blaming the “cabal” for every failure is a cop-out. It’s time for the government to stop hiding behind this convenient excuse and start delivering on the promises made to the Nigerian people. The cries for better living conditions, more jobs, and a stable economy are not the whispers of a hidden enemy; they are the loud, desperate calls of a nation demanding real change.

Guess the same cabal were also in place when Tinubu did his senseless protests back then in the past? Delivering good governance is not rocket, but what does one expects when it is based on entitlement mentality?

They keep giving out conflicting statements. The other day, Ajuri Ngelale said the presidency is in support of peaceful protests as enshrined in the constitution.

That exactly is it!

BAT too was in a cabal that chased GEJ out of government and afflicted Nigerians with this level of hardship. Sadly they still shamelessly tell us that PDP wasted 16 years of oil boom while in power.
