ABUJA: Federal Capital Territory FCT Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has again called on those protesting against the President Bola Tinubu administration to come for dialogue, saying government is ready to listen to them and also walk them through some governance issues that they may not have been privy to.

He spoke on Thursday while presenting staff of office to four newly appointed chiefs in the territory.

Commending protesters in the FCT for been nonviolent, Wike urged them to continue to resist those who will want to destroy the nation.

He said Abuja as the nation’s capital remained a precious asset to the country, noting that if the FCT is destroyed, it will have negative consequences on the entire country.

These Politicians don't know they are playing with fire.

They threatened the hungry and obviously angry citizens.

They live opulent lives and rub it on the face of the masses (what an insult) and don't know one day it will backfire.

The other day a supposed elderly but idiotic Senate President publicly mocked the poor by saying they should go ahead and protest while they (the political class,) will be eating inside. The fool doesn't know when it gets hotter the angry youths will come for them and their families and there won't be a place to eat or food for them to eat again.

They also forget that the security forces they are relying on also have families at home facing the hardship, when it gets hotter the security forces too will join the protest and there won't be anywhere for them to hide.

They forget that even if they decide to run away to seek shelter anywhere in the world, they shouldn't forget that Nigerians are one of the most traveled citizens across the globe, they will be fished out and punished for the crime they committed in Nigeria.

E go soon red for corrupt politicians.

which dialogue here. Your cluelessness and ignorance stinks 😷. So it’s when Nigerians protest 🪧 worldwide that you will do the needful. This is just a tip of iceberg. Much protests will be massive in the coming days and weeks. A hungry man is an angry man. #EndbadgovernanceinNigeria

These criminals think they own the country, they don't even care about the plight of the masses. Garri is almost 4k for basket and they expect the masses to keep quiet.

No constant electricity in Nigeria and they won't still make fuel affordable for the masses to do their business.

Tinubu daughter wey never hustle for money before since dem born her dey tell market women to warn their children make dem nor protest....... Nonsense!

Good to know that government wants to dialogue with faceless protest organisers only because the usual scapegoats didn’t participate.

WIKE don see handwriting on the wall. All the Yoruba RONU people hailing him have shown their strength and Wike now knows that they are irrelevant.

He is trying to appeal to other tribes, because he needs to stay relevant, as things will be bloody for him without Government backing.

All those that believed Yoruba Propaganda, should ask them, where is the 'so called' CHINASA?

Anyway.. this protest ha shown how SOLID the SE is awake to realities and their REAL enemies.

Truly power belongs to the people.. grin
