A large number of children between the ages of 10 and 17 yesterday hit the streets of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to comply with the nationwide protest.

They observed the peaceful protest under heavy security presence on the major Kano road, along the Bulunkutu area of the town.

The boys carried placards with various inscriptions that communicated their anger to the Tinubu administration.

Some of the inscriptions read, “End the Bad Governance”, “Bama so (We don’t want)” and “We are hungry”.

Hundreds of protesters on the major Kano road, Bulunkutu area of Borno State capital, prevented vehicular movement and turned back Keke Napep riders to join the strike.

The protest picked up steam in Maiduguri around 9:00 am amidst heavy security presence with young men and women calling on President Tinubu to resign.

Our correspondent also reports how the protesters sent the passengers home to prepare and come out to join the protest.

Filling stations and petty traders later opened businesses, while commuters were left with no option but to trek.

See how deprived and vulnerable these kids look.

What stops them from looking as good as Seyi and that Iyaloja Grandma who you claim you had at 11.

Thiefnibuu you're wicked.

These children should be in school, not blocking roads and causing chaos. It's sad to see them being used as tools for protests; the real agenda is lost on them.

Where are the people shouting and circulating posters that if any protester is killed, the protest slogan will change from “End Bad Governance” to “Tinubu Must Go” ?

The riffraffs think Nigeria is Kenya. All of you and your stupid families will just die for nothing and nothing will happen.

my worry is how extremely selfish and foolish most of the leaders are. terrible sets of glorified chimps. you steal ur way to power, one would have thought he will treat the masses well, AGBADO LET THE POOR /BRIF/. My love for the Igbos grow by the minute, they're just laughing at balabluans among the protesters, Our law makers will soon have Nigerians(impoverish) pay then a visit soon, across party lines. TIME is just the difference

Tinubu government lost track from it begining. When a train without a brake derail from it track on top of a mountain it will be on a free fall and it disastrous is going to be inevitable. Tinubu hit the ground running on it first day in office and it was one of his down fall like someone that was not prepared for governance.

It's difficult to admit he made a costly mistake on a situation that currently has no solution. Only to keep telling Nigerians to be patient on a self afflicted challenges.

Nigeria is sick and diagnoses show exchange rate is the problem. All the many challenges are it symptoms. If this government focus on improving exchange rate everything will begin to get better.

Children on the streets while adults are busy causing chaos? This is the future we’re building?

Instead of nurturing the next generation, we’re dragging them into our mess.

How can we expect any progress when the youth are caught up in the politics of roadblocks and protests?

Good. Since the children were old enough to vote in the last election, they are old enough to protest.

People saying they should be in school bla bla should shut the Bleep up. These are one of the
numerous products of a failed society. Are they no longer the people used to rig elections in the north by these evil politicians to the detriment of our collective well-being. They should equally protest cuz their country failed them.

The Igbo’s think they are smart! They ignited this anti-Tinubu protest under the pretence of hardship protest online, after it has gained momentum on/offline, they left it to their useful idiots(In Israel’s Netanyahu word’s)in the SouthWest, North & SS to carry on self-destruct!
