Day 2: Police Teargas Journalists, Protesters In Abuja by Heavens1stson: 11:31am On Aug 02
Policemen have fired teargas canisters at protesters assembling at the popular Berger roundabout in Abuja.

Journalists covering the protest were not spared either, as they were also tear-gassed at a separate location they had gathered.

Teargas for journalists? This is just another day in Nigeria.

Instead of constructive dialogue, we are met with chaos and confusion. Why can’t these protesters find better ways to voice their grievances? It’s like they’re more interested in creating a scene than actually solving problems.

Meanwhile, the same police that are meant to protect lives are now seen as the enemy. What a way to twist the narrative!

Tinubu will pay the ultimate price if he can't handle this properly. This is tragic already and it's just Day2

If the police want to make it bloody with the peaceful protesters, the peaceful protesters will revolt and dealt with them. The police force in Nigeria should remember what happened in the #endsars scenario in 2020. #EndbadgovernanceinNigeria

These retards fail to realise hunger and hardship is not what you can quell with teargas and force.

If not for fear of licking microphone and talking balablu bulaba, Tinubu is supposed to come out and address Nigerians.

But 1st he must return fuel price to where he met it.

E don do now. The message was adequately conveyed yesterday.

In about three months time, if nothing concrete was done to avert the anger and hunger, you can hit the street again, unannounced.

that’s what they always do when their Oga at the top direct them to shoots peaceful protesters. The protesters will resist them this time around.
