The Tinubu ass leaking CDS, should go and sit down.
You folded your arms and never flinched a muscle when politicians were running this country down like banana republic. You were there, when they put the citizens into this precarious situation of hunger, poverty, insecurity, joblessness and inflation, yet you didn't utter a word. Now that the hapless citizens have decided to fight for their right, you suddenly remember your call as a military officer.
Taure of Burkina Faso, is a far younger officer but look at the courage he put up to save his country from the clutches of greedy politicians and thieves, hiding under the veil of democracy? This should be the goal of any military man and not coming out to spew nonsense.
I wonder why we are left with only pussies wearing military camouflages and parading themselves as soldiers in Nigeria. The only thing they are good at is threatening and maiming armless civilians.
If you are a soldier, you should be more concerned about taking over this useless government at least for the interim and not to come out and threaten the already frustrated poor citizens.
People are hungry and has no hope of getting the next meal. Some of them are almanguris who are more or less orphans with no fringe of hope of getting hand out form the public and your expect them not to loot when they have the opportunity.
You can't beat a child and expect him not to cry.

North has never protested like this before. It should scare anybody in government. Let's not forget that the heart banditry and insurgency is in the North. It might just escalate the matter more.

Yes of course

Why not go and step in in Brono and Zamfara where bandits are overrunning communities and leave the protest for police and civil defence to handle?

Why waste manpower and military hardware on unarmed protesters, when it can be effective utilized in red zones up North.

Lol... Nigerian army is a joke.

Use the armed forces to fight insurgency ravaging the entire north and other parts of the country. The NPF and civil defence will handle this protest Incase it's going out of hand. I doubt whether he can go to southern Kaduna with 50 soldiers.

Immediately northern heavyweight started visiting the calamity called buhari I knew something was brewing. But the yorubaman obsession for the igbos made him blind towards the northern men scheming. I should be paid for educating my juniors from the west.

The NA should not start what they can't finish because they are overstretched and 200k soldiers can confront more than 200M hungry and angry citizens. Meanwhile, the military has no business in the civil affairs of the nation it is the work of the police & NSCDC let the military mind the banditry and the insurgency that brought us to this junction. Tinubu should call his dogs to other bcs the CDS has no business in addressing the nation on civil matters. angry
Wetin concern you if military are called in? If the unrest is beyond what police can handle, the military will do the needful, get that into your skull.

So why is the Nigeria police paid salaries if army would confront anarchists?
Army all over the rest of the world are recruited and trained to defend a country against foreign invaders or to invade hostile country.

In the USA, the National guard would have stepped in by now to quash the looting and arson going on in the North.
In the USA, it would hardly ever even get to this point of protesting. Cause the President would have since addressed the agrieved citizens.

Over here, the president had 3weeks notice to the protest, he only address the traditional rulers, Governors and Security chiefs of the Nation.

How crazy is that?

Over 3weeks.

US doesn't have bandits and terrorists killing, kidnapping and maiming farmers and travelers.

That's a nation with a working National Guard and Military.

Not the one where Soldiers terrorise civilians all year round, while terrorism and insecurity worsen.
