confusedlady: I never understand these people, such as the character above, who have problem with Igbos. But as soon you say Igbos should be allowed to go their way, they will start talking about Senators and Governors Why will you need Senators and Governors to let go of people you don't like? Senator and Governors were not needed before Russia let go of Lithuania, Latvia and other baltic nations Senator and Governors were not needed when Czechoslovakia let go of Republic of Slovakia But as soon as you talk about Igbos leaving a mere British colonial contraption called Nigeria, people will start talking all sorts of nonsense that will prolong the matter. And after that, the same person will still be complaining about Igbos This is pure madness when someone cannot let go of people they don't like, they will first need national assembly, Senators, and Governors, just to allow people they don't like to go their way? It's crazy 🤪 |

gidgiddy: The worst thing that can happen to Yorubas is Igbos leaving Nigeria, the north will finish them as Igbos are leaving. If you doubt me just consider what the north did in Ilorin Kwara State. The Yorubas use Igbos as a cover that's why this protest is making them crazy because Igbos decided not to be part of it. Mad people. |

gidgiddy: Nobody's crazy here except you and your endless and relentless opening of gazillions of threads lamenting, wailing, and gnashing your teeth while repeating the same thing like a broken record! Do the right thing. Your forebears Nnamdi Azikiwe,Ignatius Ironsi and Odumegwu Ojukwu got you boxed into the cul-de-sac that you lament about every day. It is sheer lunacy to keep on doing the same wrong thing every day and expect a different result. You have been doing this since the 1960s. Try something new and stop playing the victim. Get your representatives and elected officials to move a motion for CONSTITUTIONAL AMMENDMENT to include the terms REFERENDUM AND SECESSION which your confused forebear Azikiwe was against in 1956. Simple! Stop blaming other tribes! You cannot chase two things at once! It is either Biafra or Nigeria presidency. Make up your damn mind and choose one! Stop lamenting and disturbing the peace of this section with your perpetual wailing and do the damn right thing! 4 Likes |

gidgiddy: I grew up with Ndigbo, they have helped me in navigating my path in life. I have a crush on an Ndigbo woman. The way they easily assimilate into and contribute to different locations they settle in is admirable. They are great, loyal and kind people to be around, this is my experience. Hiwever, none of the above is true for Obidients who are quite frankly, useless noise makers and need to mechionu becos we don tìre for dem. |

aswani: If the British had followed this line of reasoning, they would have never given you Nigerians independence That same way the British gave you independence is how you need to give any part of Nigeria that no longer wants to part of you their independence |
Re: Igbos Can Go, But Grant Them A Seperate Country First by aswani(m): 1:36pm On Aug 03 |
gidgiddy: Go and meet your representatives in Abuja if you really want your independence, they have the power to put things in motion. Chikena. If you want to keep playing the victim and deep down don't want to leave. Continue playing Moses and accusing people of not wanting to let your people go on Nairaland. 4 Likes |

aswani: U dey speak well about them, how many times have u seen any Igbo said anything good about the Yorubas I currently live in Ukpo,Anambra state and I've been there for long. I would be unreasonable to say I've never being helped multiple times by them but if its all gonna be bile and hate from them to me, then we can all be unreasonable These guys flood the SW yet thinks SW needs them more. They are trying to force unneccessary rivalry and its becoming hard to ignore I respect your opinion and choices tho. You are sane 1 Like |

DevilsEqual: I myself see your point, you should understand that Obidients are not a true reflection of Ndigbo. Same as IPOB followers, some might say they are one and the same, me I would rather not comment on that. It is like someone saying Adeyinka grandson or whether the idiot calls himself represents Yoruba views. Social media, especially in Nigeria, is an empty barrel makes the most noise phenomenon. Yes a lot of Ndigbo wanted Obi to win, even those in Ala Yoruba born and bred, but most of them have moved on, we just have a small discontented rump here on Nairaland with multiple monikers fanning the embers of nonsense. If they get their Biafra now, you think they will be happy? That is when you will start hearing stories that Ndi Anambra are oppressing them blah blah. I will say this though, how Simon Ekpa can sit in Finland and be weilding such power is incredible. I would never have believed it myself considering how proud a tribe of good people Ndigbo are. 1 Like |

Re: Igbos Can Go, But Grant Them A Seperate Country First by gidgiddy: 8:53am On Aug 04 |
confusedlady: That's what Im saying. If you were not a unity begger, you would not need any motion to be moved before letting Igbos go their way. No motion was moved anywhere before Igbo land was forced in the British colonial project called Nigeria. So why do you need laws changed, motions moved, referendum held, just to let go of people you don't like? Only a unity begger wants that If Yorubas told me they want to go their way, I would support it, I often even praise Sunday Igboho. If Hausa said they want to go their way, I would tell them to declare Arewa Republic as soon as practical But when Igbos say the want to go their way, the same unity begger above who often complains about Igbo, will require motions to be moved, laws to be created, referendums to be held, just to let go of people he does not like? Unity begging is a disease. |

gidgiddy: You woke up on a Sunday morning and continued your wailing and gnashing of teeth ad nauseum. Guy give this a rest. It is not interesting. It has never been interesting except to stiff necked, rebellious and duplicitous lovers of anarchy like yourself and your cohorts. IPOB gun men slaughtered all the royalty in a community in Imo state yesterday in order to achieve the anarchy and madness called Biafra which you continually promote on Nairaland despite the forum clearly being against it. You guys should continue your madness and mayhem until you completely turn the whole of EasternNigeriainto a huge killing field.....nobody will plead with you to stop until you completely destroy and raze down your region. Continue to cut your noses to spite your faces. Good luck in your destruction quest. https://www.nairaland.com/8174675/bloodbath-imo-gunmen-murder-seven 2 Likes |

gidgiddy: Tell all your Ibo HOS and HOR and governors to sign a referendum. Instead of signing a document or agreement to bring out Nnmadi Kanu. And sponsoring Simeon Ekpa ....it takes the same energy to sign ReferendumThan to be supporting ring - leaders of a terrorists group ..... the hypocrisy of Ibo.
