Wole Soyinka is a big disgrace. Despite his global achievement and reputation for speaking against the ills of the society, he at the dusk of his life tainted himself to be a humanitarian fraud, whose pedigree and advocacy lyrics for humanity, justice and democratic championing had been all hypocrisy, finally unravelled by tribalism, and nepotistic bent toward the worst and the most corrupt and heartless president Nigeria ever had.

Soyinka said his major focus of Tinubu's speech was to see how Tinubu aims at managing protest. Protest management was his sole major interest in all of this brouhaha occasioned by his friend Tinubu. And he used uselessly convoluted and ambiguous grammar to pass that across.
Soyinka wasn't impressed at Soldiers using bullet. And he wished police can copy their counterparts in advance nation when it comes to protest management. A protest he truly characterized as hunger protest, which unfortunately was met by bullets.

There's nothing wrong in this position , but how can this be the only primary concern of Soyinka despite going mute for the past 1 year on a govt he fondly supported its fraudulent emergence.

He never criticized any of Tinubu's policy of lies and suffering
Never talked about Tinubu's propagandas and fake news govt.
He never talked about the unprecedented inflation and suffering of Nigerians
Never cared about anything...but only to pay lip comment on bullet that was fired. That's all?

Chai if no bullet were fired, Soyinka would have been okay with everything Tinubu is making us pass through and would probably have had nothing to say in this present calamity? Was that his only and primary concern when attacking Jonathan and Buhari and Abacha in the past? O ma se o....In Nigeria, it seems the good ones are not yet born

Wole Soyinka has his views, but let's not forget that President Tinubu is doing his best to navigate these turbulent waters. It's easy to criticize from the sidelines, but leadership is about making tough calls. We need to focus on solutions rather than just the noise. Tinubu is steering Nigeria towards progress, and that's what matters. Time will reveal the true intentions behind the rhetoric.
