No lies told. The speech was very insensitive to the demands and aspirations of the ordinary Nigerian.

If Tinubu who claimed to be part of NADECO can speak like this as if he is a military dictator, then he's clueless

All i saw was a someone in... higher clouds reading a speech..

I dont even know if he was there in the reality of things...

True.

President Tinubu thinks the protest is politically motivated.

Na just wahala dem dey find? What is the cause of the "wahala"? Did the leader address the causes in his speech? What and what did he say to ease the mind of those causing the wahala, or those who were instigated to. Abi na military government una dey.

Little did you know that his duty is to address those small small children and make dem reason well. Or what did you think the role of a leader is?

There are just too many voluntary slaves in this country. Nigeria is a perfect example of "there is no point trying to free a slave who wants to be a slave". The whites tried, but here we are again.
Mind you, slavery is a result of selfishness.

How about you stop talking from your anus or find someone sensible in your family to comment for you

Was is it not protest that reverted fuel price under 16yrs of pdp, was it not protest that scrambled #sars , was it not protest that reverted naira redesign , was it not protest that gave rise to new minimum wage ... is there anything in life that has merit and no get demerit .. is it not food some people ate that landed dem 6 feet under ground, weyrey have you stop eating
if Tinubu have sense will Nigeria be in these mess, look at the presidential speech does it resonate with the demands of the people, stupid old man was reminding us one by one all the foolish policies that fell from his retard brain .. who removes subsidy without contingencies plan

how can people hustle amount to better lives when there per income as being eroded by astronomical inflation rate , what 30k can do under buhari 70k can't even do now , drug i use to buy 9k before i bought it 37k and you think thunder no go strike you and your family for the insensitivity comments you always drop

we told the stupid old man to stop reimbursing governors with palliative to share but the retard keeps doing the same thing .. no result and he keeps at it no be foolishness be that

he removed subsidy but from logical instinct subsidy is back .. which ends wan justify the means bayii

Military?

Dont play!

NaijaSumigan:
Tinubu seem to show he is a cunny man and has proven that several times. I strongly believe Tinubu is in power all for his personal selfish glory and to enrich his fellow political colleagues.

I will advise the Youths and Nigerians to stay a year patient more, by then we will show all Nigerian politicians including each state Governors that we all are tired of Democracy.

There's every possibility for Military takeover before Tinubu finishes his four year in office if he takes this warning protest for granted. He will seriously blame himself for our next protest in a year time.
Re: Tinubu’s Speech Failed To Address Protesters’ Demands - Falana by Dwightventures(m): 9:29am On Aug 05
Lol. Failed people → Failed State.

Continue to use "protest" to magically make your country Paradise.

At the heart of Nigerian failure is the mind of the Nigerian person. It is that kind of mind that destroys people like me from the bud and promotes people like those who become your leaders later in life.

Remove the name "Tinubu" and add any other name; result still same. Good some observers have indicated "… as was done to Goodluck Jonathan". Then Tinubu was part of the "saints" on the "good" side. I have seen longer than that; and I have read up the rest going back to 1966. The complaint remains the same even though the leaders change. Why? Because it is a NIGERIAN SOCIETY PROBLEM. Una no good!

keep Peter Obi out of ur latrine and focus on the mandate thief. Them no use Peter Obi swear for una.

I have never seen a set of people so obsessed with Peter Obi that even in matters that don't concern him they still mention his name as if they were cursed to continue to do so...the curse is damn too strong. Imagine yesterday Reno omokri who haven't said anything about the ongoing protest just realized Peter Obi is still living without paying rent in his head started blabbing with Peter Obi's name. I don't even bother opening any thread with the combination of Reno omokri and Peter Obi, it will be a waste of time because na rubbish you go read.

i'm not sure how Obi enters this discussion. Jonathan was not trusted and for good reason. His was the height of a wasteful government. OBJ government left $43 billion with little or no debt and he enjoyed oil prices over $100 per barrel for years. He left foreign reserves at $28 billions. This is different from the debts he incurred and the about $20 billion that was frittered away from excess crude account. See the comparison is not just there, let's leave matter.

This topic is not about what Jonathan did.
The question is, did he sympathize with the peoples pain(including Tinubu) and overturned a decision that he made?
