I love people who cut their coats according to their sizes. see finish is always far from.
@Kwinity,

"Cut your coat according to your cloth" is the CORRECT English quotation NOT "Cut your cloth according to your size" which is sometimes mistakenly used. I agree with the original point you were trying to make though.

This is a sign of a failed society where there's no mortgage facilities

The rate at which we sell land anyhow in this country makes me laugh

If things are well.structured, the person who built this house will afford well completed 2bdr & parlour mortgage house. Instead of only him owing a full plot of land, the said plot of land can easily contain 12 units of 2bdr flat with 3 units on each floor. By so doing, large parcel of land will be preserved and there will be no need for anybody going deep bush to build house. Building a house inside thick forest should not be celebrated but I don't blame some of the people building houses inside forest because these days, caretakers parading themselves as estate agent are very wicked, a house that landlord gave them to let out at the rate of 400k over year they will inflate the price to 600k per year & total package will be 900k per year whereas with 400k per annum, total package supposed to be 480k naira only

Government failure

Greediness of estate agent

Mentality that anybody who's yet to build house is a failure

These are the 3 factors that contributing to people building this kind of houses

A residential building is not supposed to be far from healthcare centres, police stations etc

You made a valid contribution and great points. The number three point always irritate me. This is what is making people go deep into the forest to build a single room apartment with no protection and in an unsafe environment and start living there. No more nearby land to farm anymore.

I don't have strength for ignorant arguments.
Believe whatever you like.

This shows that you never passed through university. Not the first time ignorant poly graduates would vomit such statement. People like you always have this mindset until you pass through the university.

Imagine those children that don't know whether they will buy land in this world before they die typing nonsense that a house is not beautiful.if it is not beautiful, does the owner beg for accommodation from your parents? Does he borrow money from your father to buy the land and build the house to that level .Since you graduate from school ,how many of you have any tangible achievement except carrying certificate up and down and put all your burden and responsibilities on your parents
If you want to be prosperous in life appreciate the little God gives someone. Some of your people in America lives inside container while some are homeless

It could be 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. Whenever he has money, he will join the remaining part and complete the roof. You will never know it was like this

They are becoming increasingly popular as Shylock landlords keep driving rents upward. People will be forced to put up such structures to avoid harassment from landlords. like someone mentioned up there, this person is now a landlord. EOD

Don't blame the landlords for increase in rents, rather blame Tinubu and APC for making Nigerians poorer each passing minute.

APC and Tinubu is a curse to this nation.
