Anybody with the knowledge of the reason Why police wear this red arm band?

The IG said the red band on police officer’s arms showed they were on high alert.

He said, “The red bands we are wearing signify that our command is on high alert. Those claiming they were not served court orders must understand that serving faceless individuals is challenging. Their threats were made on social media, and they were served through the same platform.”

They said they started using it to indentify themselves during this protest because they believe their will be some people who will put on police uniform to commit crime. By putting on the red piece they will be able to identify genuine police

The IG of police just confirmed it now on arise tv during the all service chief security press briefing that the red hand band is to identify d legitimate police men and that any police with a black uniform and doesnt have it is not a police man.
