The Nigeria 10th National Assembly, the Senate, and the House of Representatives have revealed that its members have introduced about 522 bills, while 27 were passed into law in just one year. The leaders of the national assembly include the Senate President, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudden Abbas. It was revealed that over 50 public petitions have been successfully resolved in the period under review. "In the pursuit of a stronger Nigeria, 27 bills have been enacted into law, while others are at various stages of the legislative process. "The Senate has read 275 bills, with 135 awaiting. Among these, only 40 originated from the executive, while about 464 bills are being driven by the private members, the citizens. "The youths should always think while checking facts and be fair to the government. "It's high time we remember the Access to Higher Education Act. The interest-free student loan initiative by the federal government. The recent minimum wage bill, lifting the minimum wage to from N30,000 to N70,000. "Also consider the CBN amendment bill, rising credit facility obtainable by the federal government. Ensuring our nation's financial engine continues to run smoothly. "Let us always know that the National Assembly is shaping the future of the nation. The National Assembly is committed to positioning Nigeria to its original standard," it stated.

You see why you need to recall these people. The bills that have been passed so have not helped ordinary Nigerian with the amount we pay this people. If they say its not enough resign and let other people who know what is good for us take over. Tinubu can't do anything without the lawmakers. Fighting Tinubu and let the lawmakers walk away is foolish. They do or sign whatever Tinubu want dangerous. They can impeach the president. So protesting waste of money and our time. We need to let the lawmakers know that the power is in our hands now not president or EFCC. |
