Great analysis but you must take into account the debt is bearing interest at a rate over 10% and sometimes over 20%. Debt kills except the interest rate is low and you have equal amount in savings bearing higher interest rate.

Again S&P500 are US stock. Foreign stock takes about 40% of your profit in US. Except there is a way around this.

But you made a great point about investing government money. That is what companies do. Invest is low risk security and watch ur money grow
